Good idea Freepers. My son-in-law is a marine and in a position to know a lot (I won't elaborate). I would never discuss the things he has told me.

THE REGIME OF OXI-NATO VOWS TO KEEP SILENT DURING TIMES OF WAR!!!
WITH REGARDS TO THE BALKANS, NO WAY!!!
ANY NATO MILITARY ACTIVITY OTHER THAN FOR THE BALKANS WILL BE NOTED, NOT POSTED!!!

Classified bump. Agreed, we need to keep our eyes open and our mouths shut right now. Most posters who post such information are doing it harmlessly and out of the curiosity and excitement of the moment; but such posts could endanger investigations and lives. Remember, most freepers would never do anything to harm our servicemen and women, or those who are investigating this heinous crime. Rather than flaming the poster (and leaving the potentially damaging post up longer) we need to make the moderators aware of any blatantly dangerous posts.
I'm not advocating playing "forum master" here, I'm just saying that a heads-up to the moderators might save lives. Let the moderators know, and let them make the call...

I might add you should put that on your FRONT PAGE for now.

Aye Aye Sir!

Well, with a face like that I can understand why he has suicidal friends.

We can also hit abuse to notify the moderators when we find a post. The last one I put a warning on not to post after hitting abuse. They pulled it immediately and probably would have without my abuse call -- I just didn't want to take a chance. I agree with you that most posters that give information about the military don't understand how dangerous it could be.

LOL........be on the look out!

Perhaps we can lead by example.Amen, my friend. You're also right on the money about our ridiculous immigration policy, too.

There have been several postings tonight giving information about bases near where they live -- please do not discuss your local bases on the open forum. This happened during Panama, the Gulf War, Somalia and even Kosovo. And it really is nerve wracking to find out what you are doing is in the news. For the love of this country and for those of us wearing the uniform; please, do not give out details of what you see or hear about movements at military installations. Do not discuss how you "know someone, who knows someone in the military and they say..."
Just know that the anger permeating throughout the military is deep but it isn't running hot with emotion. It is running cold with the foreknowledge that there will be a day when this will be avenged.
And I kid you not, we will avenge this.

Is it me or does that pic look like they attached someone elses ears and neck to the guy? His fake ID?

Very well stated and we support you 100%. The men and women of our Armed Forces are our greatest asset because you all care so much about what you do! God Bless to all of you that wear the uniform today and those of you that have worn the uniform in the past! All I can say is "Thanks" from this Grateful American!
