BERLIN, Sept 12 (AFP) - German, British, French and Israeli secret services have linked the US terrorist attacks to Saudi-born extremist Osama bin Laden, a spokesman for German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder said Wednesday.
The intelligence services have determined that "the choice of targets, the military approach, the apparent motive, the professional preparation, the extent of the financial resources involved and the repeat attacks indicate that the culprits can be found in the entourage of Osama bin Laden," said the head of the chancellor's office, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Why not both?
Forget just "giving him up" because his whole operation will still be intact. And you can't tell me there is someone waiting in the wings (probably hand picked) to take his place.
Just blow the entire operation off the face of the map, then warn everyone else that the same will happen to them if they f*ck with America!
Cyclist, I agree with you, we've been demanding that Bin Laden be turned over to us for years, the Taliban has refused. Therefore, they are just as responsible for this as he is. If he had been turned over when we requested, he wouldn't have been able to plan this attack.
Time to bomb Afghanistan...

The only alternative I've heard so far that I will accept is that is floated by Former NYC mayor Ed Koch: Give all nations known to be harboring terrorists 5 days to decide which alternative they wish: 1)Turn them over to the US, or, 2)Evacuate their two largest cities because they are about to become rubble.

We need squat for proof. He was behind the 2 embassy bombings in Africa, and is suspected to be behind the US Cole ramming as well. I don't give a rat's ass if we have proof he did this. There are hundreds this man has killed already before yesterday. The Taliban are some evil evil bastards. I don't even care if they give him up.
Turn every single Taliban military encampment into a parking lot.

We can no longer afford to extend the luxury of a choice to him or the bastards who harbor him and his groups.
Once we confirm without a shadow of a doubt that it was usama ( cap left out on purpose ), Afghanistan should cease to exist! May GOD forgive me, but the strongest message should be sent to bastards who think they can just walk in to our wonderful city and terrorize our citizens. The next terrorist act inside one of our cities may just involve nuclear weapons, so the message we send when we retaliate should be the strongest possible.
My prayers are with all freepers and Americans everywhere, especially those that may have lost someone in this most atrocious act of evil.
