Some random thoughts (sorry for the vanity):
I remember about 5 years ago Algerian terrorists were planning the same type of plane bombings over Paris. They wanted to cause the maximum amount of civilian casualties. They were caught and stopped.
Depending on the final number of dead at the WTC, it will equal about the number of abortions done EACH DAY in America.
I don't believe abortion is right, but GIVE IT REST, PAL!
Why not? It's all about the killing of innocent people--is it not?
You make a good point. Most of the elite people support killing.. they only differ on who is to be killed.
Lots of people don't like to hear what they are. It destroys their self image. They demand action on killing they don't like. They want to ignore killing that only slightly bothers them. That is why they want to give it a rest. They want their conscience to continue sleeping comfortably.
Their conscience needs more exercise..not rest. Keep it up.
You people a like bad fricking comics: really bad timing.
You also make yourselves look like idiots during a time of national crisis. (YES, I KNOW ABORTION IS ALSO A NATIONAL CRISIS! But, it is just different: one is a national moral crisis, one is a true national crisis.)
You're sick, very sick.
First, these are random thoughts...
Second, do not call into question my patriotism - I have probably done more than the vast majority of the posters here (ie - if you don't know where Camp Mackall is you would not understand)
Third, now that I think about it, what exactly is the difference of the killing of innocents - whether by terrorists or by a doctor?
Allah's will, right?
Abortion has weakened our moral fiber. People no longer make decisions based on right and wrong but upon what feels good at the moment. What began as situation ethics turned into "values clarification." Do what feels good. Sacrificial acts do not feel good at the moment, but heroes engage in them every day.
Like many I have been in tears since this happened.
I favor a multi-year campaign against terrorism, to exterminate all who engage in these acts and to stop every single person who supports terrorism in any fashion.
If you desire peace, prepare for war.
Bounce the rubble.
