May the heroism of these Americans not be in vain! The greatest US military leader of the 20th Century, General George Patton, after the Third Army's lightning advance through Germany, when he was stopped by our "leadership" at the Czechoslovak border, warned that if we did not continue and eliminate the Soviet menace while we had the chance, millions would die and be enslaved. He was instead reprimanded by his superiors, relieved of his command, and the U.S. Third Army disbanded and sent home. History proved Patton right. When General Norman Schwartzkopf was ready to continue Desert Storm's lightning advance on into Bagdad and put an end to Saddam Hussein while we had the opportunity once-and-for-all, the US Armed Forces were stopped in their tracks and ordered home. "Peace" was declared. Today, history has spoken loud and clear again!
Will we listen this time?</font size>

You don't care about terrorism, you just care about your man in office not getting tarnished.Uh...no...just don't think that right now is the time to launch an all out assault on ourselves. Let's get the enemy without before we try to repair all the holes within. It's real easy for you to sit around and identify all these problems which, no doubt, you could swiftly remedy. Why don't you just be an American for a night... and let the Bush crap go for just a few hours...

It's Deena. She is a good friend of a co-worker. They have three children who are in dire need of prayer.

That's exactly why he was tapped to be the Republican candidate in 2000, along with the fact that he had the kind of personality that most Republicans are lacking, and his father is the former director of the CIA.

Save it. This thread is about heroes. Go make your point somewhere else. Can't you tell that you've outworn your welcome?

The overbearing, constantly annoying, nit-picking prig act is no one's friend. BACK OFF. I understand how you feel she gets on my nerves too.
I pray Bush strikes fast, this is no time for wasting time worry about who we might offend. Our enemies have asked us to kill them, so let's not let them down.

THOSE HEROS SAVED MANY LIVES, AND PROBABLY SAVED THE WHITE HOUSE TOO !!!!

Does our military have the "bandwidth" to take on all our sworn enemies. It has gotten so scanty that nuclear warfare may be the only thing with the capacity right now. I pray for this country, I don't look forward to WWIII.

That's what I was thinking too, dandelion. "No greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." That was originally spoken of Jesus Christ, but is altogether fitting and proper as applied to those heroic passengers who attacked the hijackers. How Christlike, and oh how American! A grateful nation salutes you.

Had they hit the White House, most of America would be on its feet yelling for the blood of the perpetrators and their hosts.
Patience, this may only be Chapter 1 of a long, long book.

It is not time for introspection, or blame. It is time to bury the dead, honor the heroes, and grieve. There is always another day to point fingers, wait a little longer before attacking, let the President be.

Bump for three who made a difference.

Has anybody asked how his open border policy will curb terrorism?Has anyone asked how your open mouth policy will curb stupidity?
I'm seriously done with this anti-Bush crap on a day like today. Go find the people who are convinced that Israel did this to give the Arabs a bad name and have a party together. Give it a rest for a day or two and then you can come back spouting all the Buchanan-speak you want. (I know you'll understand)

Because of our national firearm phobia, not one innocent person on those planes was allowed to keep and bear arms - thanks to government regulations. Had the flight attendants been required to carry a sidearm, and trained in its proper use, might the events of the past 24 hours been different? We'll never know. </font size> But what will the result be?
I'm willing to bet more restrictions on freedom. More disarming of law-abiding citizens. For "safety."
