ISLAMABAD (Xinhua) -- The Northern Alliance fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for the bomb attacks in Kabul during wee hours on Wednesday, said a report from Kabul.

According to earlier report, after explosions rocked Kabul at about 2:30 a.m., White House officials in the U.S. denied ordering attack on Afghanistan following destruction of the World Trade Center towers by hijacked planes.

The Northern Alliance are the Commuists folk. The Taliban had nothing to do with this. They have their hands full killing each other over there.

"The Northern Alliance are the Commuists folk."

Most of the Northern Alliance leaders fought AGAINST the Soviet Union, but they do have some ex-Communists too. They are receiving support from Tajikistan and Russia in their war against the Taliban and Osama bin Laden.

This attack is important. Why did these guys hit now? The enemy of my enemy is my friend. This is obviously a bid for American support.
