Ladies and Gentlemen, FReepers of every race, CREED and color, I urge an immediate moratorium on the nauseatingly bigoted comments directed against "Islam," or "Muslims," or any negative reference to anyone strictly because of his or her religion. FR is no place for this trash, and I'd like to publicly call on the Esteemed Moderators to hunt down and erase all such tripe from FR.
Islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet, with much of that growth stimulated at the business end of a gun barrel.
Islam and China are the greatest threats against the West for the forseeable future, and both have declared us to be their enemy. Common sense says we should duke it out now while we still have a chance of winning.
But do not kid yourself about the nature of our enemy. We are not fighting an isolated band of outlaws. We cannot ensure our safety by treating this as a police operation.
There is a context to these attacks and a system that supports the perpetrators. The context is fundamentalist Islam, and the system that supports it includes everyone from Saddam Hussein to the imams who preach war to the people celebrating in the streets of East Jerusalem.
This IS a clash of civilizations, just like WWII. Would it have been right for us to kill more Japanese than absolutely necessary? No, of course not. But it was necessary to destroy the Imperial cult and reconstruct Japan as a modern liberal democracy.
We may need to do the same thing in the Islamic world.
Islamic theology requires that any Muslim who turns from Isalm and Mohammed should be killed. Period. Moderate American Muslims need to clearly denouce this aspect to their religion. Otherwise, their religion is incompatible with the United States Constitution.
If they are associated with terrorism, then they are guilty!

From the CPUSA to Greenpeace to Indymedia, this is the tune the left is singing. They can't come out and support the terrorists, they can't continue business as usual, so they have decided to turn this into a civil rights issue and lecture Americans on how bigoted and evil they are. Some here buy into it. If there was going to be retribution against Islam in this country, it would have happened by now. This post is insulting. Especailly considering what some here have said about certain Christian groups in the past. Isn't that right Illbay?
So what does the human body do when invaded or infested with hostile organisms? IT declares war and seeks out and destroys anything that resembles the enemy. Same with the body politic, do we have a strong immmune system or are we HIV positive ie: Tolerant.
Toleration of corruption, amorality, sloth, and deviance has created the decay that has led us to our present state. Tolerance allowed Clinton to get elected and stay in office, same with Condit, Marion Barry, etc.
Intolerance would have eliminated such trash soon as it was identified. Intolerance and judgement is necessary for an entity to survive.

It's no longer possible for the usual America-hating crowd to overtly support our enemies. Therefore, they retreat to the ever safe ground of civil rights and "diversity."
I don't want to hear another G-damned thing about the poor suffering Muslims. Either they are Americans (unhyphenated-Americans), suffering in solidarity with the rest of us, or they are not worthy of attention. It is an insult to the dead to discuss such trivialities as a couple of kids waving flags at a mosque when some 10,000 innocent people are DEAD.

Of course you're right. If given a chance, the Islamic radicals would clamor for all of our deaths.
Which is why I feel sorry for fools like this guy Illbay. 5000 dead and an unknown number of Islamic sleepers waiting to swing into action, and he's lecturing his countrymen on "racism."
