I have a question that I haven't seen addressed yet, and pardon me for donning my tinfoil hat, buuuuutttt..........
Considering high fuel prices, interminable service delays at airports, why, WHY were four transcontinental commercial passenger aircraft flying virtually empty? Each were reported to have capacities of an excess of 250.......None had even half the seats filled!
The flight from Newark had only 38 passengers on board.
Pardon me, but most transcontinental flights would be cancelled under these circumstances, wouldn't they? Can anyone come up with answeres to this question?
