NEW YORK (CNNfn) - It will be a long while before business gets back to normal on Wall Street after Tuesday's devastating terrorist attack, but a review of market history shows that acts of terrorism against the United States have had limited impact on the Dow Jones industrial average.

I know our minds are on other things now..Yup. Screw the market right now. Screw the funds, and screw my 401k. I want blood right now. The taste will give me far more pleasure than any amount of money could bring. Just tell us who needs "bleeding".

I hope that we all purchase a few stocks in an AMERICAN company when the markets re-open as a way to show our love and concern for all the vitims. Let's not let the evil bring our country down any further.

Hang Tough, yes. But, if you look at the list of companies housed at the Twin Towers ( go to link in post above or to www.foxnews.com ) it is going to be tough for each company to recover from the loss of life and property.
This along with the possible bankruptcy of Airline Companies, and business that deal with the airlines is going to be tramautic.
I agree that "profit be damned"...of course, we need to put our National Interests first. It's just that this attack has not yet made it's final blow.
