"So many will suffer losses today..." Yep...the toll in lives and the general sense of self-security will no doubt grow ever-larger over the next few days and weeks. The loss of Ms. Olsen is but the tip of a huge iceberg, but a huge loss nonetheless.
"...may God have mercy on us all."
Dittoes, especially as it concerns the retribution we have no choice but to exact!!

I was holding together until I saw her picture. How frightening for her husband to get that call. How terrible for her to be there. How awful for all of us that she is no longer here, fighting on our side....

"Barbara was so full of energy and life, and she was so committed to her country. She was a bright, wonderful and thoughtful person. And I know she loved all of you. This is a tremendous personal and national loss. Barbara was everything you all say she was, times 1000. A great friend. May God bless her and her grieving husband, Ted. Devastating. And may God bless all those wonderful, innocent people who lost their lives today." Dittoes and FReegards...MUD
BTW...I and many others really missed being able to hear Rush's words of wisdom today.

What does BKO mean?I think it stands for Barbara Kaye Olson. My family is praying for hers, and for all the other families who lost loved ones today.

I just heard this! Words fail me!
My son just called from work and said his co-worker's father works in the WTC and hasn't heard from him and can't reach him today. I hope he got out in time.

She was apparently able to make a call to her husband while the plane was being hijacked. Prayers for Ted Olsen and the other families who lost loved ones...

will any Arabs quench your thirst? Here is who needs to die: All the members of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Tanzim, the PA leadership, the PLO, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Taliban, Osama bin Laden and his followers, Arafat, Saddam Hussein, Bashar Assad, Rafsanjani, and every radical Islamic cleric who has ever uttered the words "death to Americans" in a mosque, on the TV or radio or in print. They are all guilty of incitement to this violence.
Make no mistake about this. This is not a political war of Arabs vs Israel, it is a religious and cultural war that uses the political conflict as justification, because it is the only justifaction that the west would understand. But be clear about this, even before there was occupation these radicals wanted to kill Jews and destroy Israel. Even before Israel these radicals killed Jews in Palestine by the score. Do not believe their BS propeganda that occupation is the problem. There would be no occupation if not for their belligerence.
No, every single one of these Islamic fundamentalists who have perverted their good and decent religion into one of death and domination is now an enemy of America and is guilty of fostering and inciting violence against Americans. They as much as say so, but we choose to ignore them and think that this is a political conflict of Israeli vs Palestinian. It is not. It is good vs evil, it is the modern against the mideivel. It is the west vs these pan-islamic nationalists. May God bless us all.

Barbara Olson has another book coming out in October. It's titled: "The Final Days: A behind the Scenes Look at the Last, Desparate Abuses of Power by the Clinton White House". It can be pre-ordered on Amazon.com. And she said on C-Span this past weekend that "Hell To Pay" is now available in paperback.

Like BearCub says. Listening to NBC radio. Reportedly BKO got a cell call off to her husband. Said, "Can you believe this, we're being hijacked" before the line went dead.

Nice post A-HOLE!
You don't see liberals bashing Ms. Olson or her family. Nothing but sympathy for them. But you gotta be an A-HOLE and wish someone else dead.
What a friggin jerk!

First off, I think you drew a bit much from what little I said. If I said too little or seemed intentionally vague, then I apologize. For the record, I of course support action against whoever is responsible, and I'm not suggesting we should wait around with our thumbs up our tails until something else happens. What I'm taking issue with is your broad, sweeping declaration that "Arabs should die". On a public forum like this you have to be careful with your words and presentation, and though I know where you're coming from, calling for the death of a certain people group seems to me an entirely careless thing to do. I'm not pansying around pretending that the majority of the the Muslim world doesn't strongly dislike us and wishes us harm, or that most of the Muslim governments don't go soft on (or entirely back) terrorists like these, but we can't go around bombing everyone who simply hates us. Instead of overreacting and calling for the death of all Arabs or Muslims, we should seek out those directly responsible. If it turns out that such-and-such government is behind this, then toast 'em.
In other words, to sum up my blathering, it's not your call to action I took issue with. It's your wording.
