Bush Bashing By A Desperate Left
NewsMax ^ | September 6, 2001 | Dan Frisa

Posted on 09/06/2001 9:53:26 PM PDT by ClancyJ

What an onslaught of personal, harshly negative invective being spewing forth daily from the Left and their comrades in the elitist media!

It’s been non-stop, at a near-dizzying pace on any issue they think will gain traction.

And all of this from the very same hypocrites who so vehemently – and falsely – charge Republicans with being mean-spirited and evil.

It shouldn’t come as any surprise, because the Left knows no decency and has no shame. What is amazing is the relentless and desperate nature of the attacks.

From the economy (read: Clinton’s recession, which began in October) to Kyoto (which the Senate turned away by a unanimous vote) to the ABM Treaty (which ceased to have any relevance when the U.S.S.R. disintegrated) to missile defense (which frightens the Russians, the communist Chinese and their friends at the New York Times) to the surplus (which should be returned to taxpayers, especially during a slow down) to the Middle East conflict (which the President wisely has maintained must first be realistically addressed by the parties themselves before U.S. involvement) to the President’s supposed "lack” of intelligence (notwithstanding that he graduated from both Yale and Harvard, unlike Junior Gore who flunked out of divinity school and mysteriously ‘left’ law school) to any other issue, real or imagined, the Left attempts to bang the President about the head and shoulders in a sick attempt to belittle him.

The President, to his great credit, hasn’t allowed any of these attacks by the Leftist elite to affect his policy considerations a single iota. He has a strong sense of self, something sorely lacking on the Left, which bolsters him amid this smelly chorus of personal disparagement and seems to steel his resolve.

There is a valuable lesson to be learned from George W. Bush: ignore the Left and do what’s right by the people. Republicans in Congress and elected office at the state and local levels should follow his lead, for all too often they seek to please their natural enemies rather than working to best them by enacting their agendas.

That’s the best way to deal with the Left: by simply ignoring them and moving forward, leaving them squealing in our dust, to the delight of a grateful electorate.

Which is exactly why I was snickering at Newsmax being the source of this article!

I'm sure Newsmax is pretty well plugged into FR and has seen the disparaging comments about their bias on many threads. So they spread a little ink in favor of Bush. Funny how these conservative web sites sooner or later figure out which side their bread is buttered on. A society is only as moral and just as their management class. They who have the gold, make the rules.

So how moral and how just is the management class in the US? The list of continued Clinton policies above gives a clue. The use of deception to mollify the voices of morality and justice is another. Business and entertainment reward and applaud power and disdain considerations of right and wrong. Contracts are only as good as your legal team, if the bottom line shows a net gain "it's all good". Dirty Harry kills the bad guy even after he's disarmed and defeated, and the audience cheers.

Clinton was less a cause than a symptom. What will Bush be?

Bravo! If the zealots of the right succeed in bringing down another Moral, Honest man for not, himself, being zealous enough in their eyes, we all will have to suffer yet another Immoral Liar begining in 2005! America won't last until 2007 but the zealots will have made their point....won't they?!

Who do you love?

Jesus Christ

Bush's heart may be in the right place, but he's not thinking things out clearly. We can't save Mexicans from their poverty by letting them all come to America .

Many people are being laid off right now in this country and he wants to help people who have NO allegiance to this country.

Jesus, Mary, Tracy, Ben Jr., Elliott, Campion, Madeleine, and ... oh yeah ... you. How's that? ;^)

Oh okay ... if you really want a political candidate to take shots at, how about Keyes, Phillips, or Buchanan. I'm not lock-stepping with any of them, but I'd vote for any of the above in a heartbeat without worrying that I'd sold out.

Pssssst... hey you...yes you kiddo. Come closer, eeven closer, let me whisper in your ear.......

The truth of the matter is, you have uncovered our plan. I give up, please don't torture me any more. I'll tell, I'll tell. Ya see, it's like this, everyone , in the entire world really IS implanted with a special disc when they are born; no, don't try to feel your's, it's embeded far to deeply, as is microscopic , that you'll never find it. My grandfather , and the coven of 33 degree Mason developed this device during WW2. It was a covert opperation, run by Hungarian immigrants and those Americans of Hungarian ancestry.Leo Szilard headed this group and was, in fact the designer of this device, Umfortunately the radium isotopes didn't allow children to develope normally ( why do you think that one of his nephews became monk and took a vow of silence ? ) , so they got in touch with Jonas Salk ( yep, it's as it always has been a conspiracy against the world, run by Masons and Jews , but you knew that .) and used the Polio vacine to cover it all up.

Clinton, both Bush presidents, Reagan, ( Sinatra didn't have an affair with Nancy; he was our " bag man." ); every president since Herbert Hoover. That's rights, Now you know; we are coming to get you, take away your guns, your property and make you our slaves... you ARE our slaves already. There is flurid in your water , don't drink the water. Don't use fluridated tooh paste, it is a narcotic and weaks the will. Haven't you ever wondered why each succesive generation , soonce fluridation was introduced , has been less and less compitent ?

Soon ... oh so soon, all of America will be ours. It will be the U.S.of ACM. UNT DEN..... TOMORROW DE VORLD !

BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Please forgive me if I left out any of your personal fears, dear. Maybe a few black helicopters , BAFT, gold, and a SWAT ream or two ? LOL

Do yourself a favor, read the FR archives, and then go get yourself some history books about this country and her presidents, which is unbased. Bush is NOT Clinton, not even Clinton lite. If you can't understand the differences between them, you need help. You also need to learn how to read the rules for posting. Personal attacks are against the rules. You ALWAYS engage in them, because you can't discuss the topic with facts.

You claim to be a Conservative, newbie, but you aren't. You are an UAPPEASABLE . You believe that which makes you miserbale , and that misery makes you happy, but also clouds your comprehension.

I voted for him and tried to get others to vote for him .
I want to believe that he's a Christian. However, it is wise to judge people by what they do, and not what they say.

So anyone but Bush or the GOP. Hey go for it. You have not "sold out" you have just given yourself bragging rights to criticize anyone actually elected. But hey it is really fun to be in that position. Whatever floats your boat.

Fair enough. Would you list those actions that have affected your judgement of him as a Christian?

Did I say I wouldn't vote Repub? Heck, I *was* one for 20 of the last 21 years. When I voted for Keyes (once) and Buchanan (once) I was voting Republican. I'd vote for a Pub again too, if they ever run another pro-lifer. (Fat chance!)

Admit it, no matter what President Bush is able to accomplish, it will never be good enough, Conservative enough, nor done fast enough to suit you. GOD and Jesus Christ could pay you a visit and tell you that Bush is a great president , and you would deny it.

Eight months is a short time, and he hasn't even gotten his budget done and passed yet. Wat time frame did you expect President Bush to fulfill your demand list in... one week , one month, two ?

You and your ilk come here, you don't understand how government works ( has ALWAYS worked, as set up by the Founding Fathers ) , but you weep, and you wail, and you gnash your teeth. You call people who disagree wth you , names, insult them and the President, left, right and center. But, WHAT HAVE YOU EVER DONE BUT TALK ?

Yes, we are guarenteed freedom of speech. Yes, you certainly are allowed to have your own opinions. But so are those who disagree with you allowed the same rights. Truthfully, this is a complete and uter waste of time. You and your ilk will NEVER be satisfied. There isn't a plitician or elected official who has EVER done what you think you want; not a one, and there NEVER shall be. The reason for this, is that you don't know what reality is. You have n idea how governement works, nor even what it would take to fix it / make things better. All you know how to do is thow temper tantrums and and hurl insults.

Hmmm, which last "pro-life" candidate overturned Roe v. Wade? I missed that one.

There is absolutely no difference in the agenda of the two scumbag parties that are crammed down the American people's throats every four years, it's disgusting.

Gosh, I take it that you are not happy with the present situation? What is your soultion?
