We could have arrived sooner but for the fact that if one flies over Russian occupied territory they shoot at you. Nice friends."
"The Russians give me the impression of something that is to be feared in future world political reorganization."
Quoted from "The Unknown Patton," by Charles M. Province. 1983, Bonanza Books, New York.
Maybe thats why history sometimes looks like a tragic trail of irreversible blunders, and why those who made them are commemorated as our greatest men. After all, who wants to build monuments in honor of pessimists?
An excellent article and topic for discussion. Humanist hubris knows no limits. 30 years ago they were saying how harmless fun sexual immorality was, and they couldn't see the AIDS plague coming around the corner. Every time these ideologues get involved we end up with a huge mess and we all have to suffer as a result. Hence, we ought to give these Libertarian and DNC moral-liberal ideologues the short shrift and send them packing on the next rail out of town, the next time they try to proselytize their latest hare-brained scheme which is doomed to certain failure.
"Ah, gee. Let people do what they want to.
Do your own thang, and it's all nobody's business.
If it feels good, do it.
Do what you want to, so long as it doesn't [immediately] hurt anyone [else] [right away].
No one can be judgmental of anyone else's behaviors.
It's all relative. There is no absolute right and wrong.
It would be terrible to discourage evil.
Evil is terrible, but discouraging it is much worse.
Harry Browne is cool!"
If you agree with any of the statements above, then you are a moral-liberal, and didn't even know it!
Discouraging evil is fine. See, I'll do it myself: People, don't do anything evil. Follow the commands in the Bible.
But discouraging evil isn't what you have in mind, now is it?
Great! Now all you need is the badge of authority!
I have no intention of coercing anyone.

Of course you don't. Among those U.S. citizens who have not renounced the world, only moral-liberals and moral-cowards would say what you just said.
All I do is describe Reality. Anyone is free to disagree with Reality if they want to. You speak as if someone is forcing you to be a moral-liberal, and you have no control over your thoughts, words, or actions. So much for personal responsibility, and your ability to honor contractual agreements between yourself and Mr. Robinson, eh?
You remind me a lot of another smarmy little freaked named Goebbels. He had a plan for dealing with people who didn't live up to his idea of morality.
L
Not forcefully coercing someone morally makes one a coward, how?
A rather myopic view.
Shhhhhhhhh. All the other voices in there are going to get confused if they find that out.
Contrary to what you might think, there is nothing brave or gallant about messing with peacefull people's lives.
Those shadows on the cave wall are not reality.
You speak as if someone is forcing you to be a moral-liberal, and you have no control over your thoughts, words, or actions.
He's speaking as if you're an ass.
"Badges.....badges...I don't need no stinking badges!"
Thomas Jefferson once wrote, "From time to time, the tree of liberty must be refreshed by the blood of tyrants" or something to that effect. I think George Washington would have agreed.
Anything can go wrong but we must all be willing to feed the Tree of Liberty.
