An East Texas woman who claims she was the victim of a racially motivated attack appears to have made the story up.
The woman told Cass County Sheriff's investigators that two white men abducted her last week.
She went on to say that the pair sexually assaulted her, and scrawled the letters K-K-K into her chest.
Now the woman says she carved the letters into her own chest and was actually with the man who she said picked her up after the made up attack.
Investigators say they have not charged the woman yet, but they are planning to meet with the district attorney.
She was trying to raise awareness
Bank on it.
Money.
Than the delicious phrase "I TOLD YOU SO".
Good call, Mr. Smithee. You nailed it before the media even had the guts to raise it as a possibility.

Exactly my thought, that's what they'll say. I've heard this crap before.
People like attention and sympathy. I've seen tv stories about moms who deliberately make their kids sick with a mild poison just so they can get sympathy from the neighbors and hospital staff. Plus as far as wanting attention, just watch "the next Jerry" sometime. Plus, the american black has been spoon fed the liberal victimization drivel for so long, I suspect many (but definitely not LN Smithee) have become addicted to it. Besides, surely you've seen school kids who fake being hurt. They love the attention.
This may be the only absolutely provable "hate crime." That is - when you falsely accuse someone of a different color of attacking you. Hmmmm. Bears some thinking about...
I thought the kids were older but strapped into their child seats.
But its kind of like waiting till 5am and predicting daylight.
Perhaps a better metaphor is L.N. is like the crowing rooster taking credit for the sunrise.
That was my first thought.
You know the NY press is a bunch of losers when they report that Sharpton is now thin. The story is that he lost weight in prison, and now nobody says that he still is about as wide as he is tall. Once the conventional wisdom says it is so, reality flies out the window.
Of course, we knew that the NY press was a bunch of losers without this confirmation.
This may not be a "hate crime" because no one was physically injured like that black guy who got dragged by the pickup truck (the attackers got death to life without parole). Now if she named a specific person, there might be more of a crime. But right now, she has only committed a crime against the state.
And the entire {insert color here} community.
I figured it would be much, much longer before you were proven right.
