Well, some of you may know that I am on vacation. I am in Northern Michigan camping with friends and family. They put me on a FReeperless diet and it is KILLING ME. The fish weren't biting so they (foolishly!) sent me into "town" for some provisions and the clerk here had an internet connection. I paid him a couple of bucks and here I am! Hahaha!
I'll hide some food in the next day or so. Maybe they'll send me back here!

LOL, Registered!!! You reminded me of when hubby,daughter and I were "incommunicado" rafting the Grand Canyon last August for 8 days. We were MAROONED from ALL forms of civilization---I absolutely got the Free Republic D.T.s
Halfway through the trip we found a pay phone at Phantom Ranch (bottom of Canyon)--our one and only phone call was to my mom, and we asked her "Who did Gore pick for Vice President?" LOL, are we sick puppies or what?!?
Registered, if you keep sneaking away to Freep, you're going to have to make up a more believable cover story: "I'm having an affair," "I had to go shoot up", etc. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

#115....LOL....Last year I spent my vacation at the very top of a very high mountain in North Carolina.....(once you reach the top, you tend to stay there a few days as it was rather harrowing getting back down)...
...I had the laptop & tried all weekend to get internet access.....but found out I wouldn't be able to until Monday.
It was the longest weekend ever!!.....LOLOL

Sorry Registered, but I just had to tell you, you missed a good day on FR. Paula Zahn left FOX and went on over to the dark side-CNN today!!!!!!!!!.....Cadee Condit lied for Gary (daddy). You better hurry up and get back here, we may need some more graphics although lowbridge has been doing a pretty good job.
