A $2 million private jet crashed into a South Florida mobile home park — apparently demolishing at least one trailer in a massive fireball.
Authorities say there are “multiple fatalities,” but it’s not clear yet how many people were on board the chartered plane, or whether anyone on the ground was killed in injured.
The plane, which had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas, took a sharp right turn before nosediving from 8,000 feet into the ground, BocaNewsNow reported.
The plane, believed to be a Learjet 60 worth $2 million, clipped a tree and brought down power lines in a crash so loud “it sounded like a missile” shortly after 1 p.m. in Greenacres, Palm Beach County, Aviation 24/7 reported.
Unverified dashcam footage shows the moment the plane smashed into the ground, triggering an enormous fireball.
Shocking video shows an enormous crater and fireball at the scene of the crash, with the flaming wreckage of the plane and the wreckage of a mobile home visible.
The crash was described as a “mass casualty incident” by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, although no further details were given on how many people were in the aircraft at the time or in the mobile home.
It was headed to the Bahamas at the time of the crash.
Multiple roads have been closed around the scene for the foreseeable future, with drivers ordered to avoid the area, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Greenacres is a community for modular and mobile homes just outside Palm Springs.

It was going to the Bahamas.
Question is: Who was flying it?
All on board are DOA.
No one survived that.
(It wasn’t that close to Trump’s home, FWIW... 9 miles away)
The Daily Mail said the Lear fell 32,000 feet in one minute.

someone got a direct link to the video? for the 117th time i tried going to this damned site and again, never seen the video!! Never again!!
Ugly story, I’ll bet the passengers were experiencing some Negative G-Force (<-1 G): Negative Gs happen only when you are being pushed or accelerated downward faster than the rate of natural free fall (such as diving rapidly in an aircraft or going over a steep drop on a roller coaster).
$2 million for a jet?
lol
Might be real, poster has a blue check mark or whatever. Seems like the same cause where a lear jet of the same type crashed in Philadelphia. Icing, a lot of moisture in southern/western part of Florida to.
Don’t click if you are the hyper-emotional type.

A used Lear 60 is worth $1.5 to $3 million depending on hours flown and upkeep. They are at least 13 years old, manufacture stopped in 2013.
I know private jets get that cheap but I don’t think I want to be on one.
Hopefully the pilot wasn’t named Mohamed.
Sounds like the pilot lost control due to severe icing.
Not everything is about Trump.
The people in the mobile home(s) had no chance .
There have been some changes at Rumble and you have to wait and wait and wait to see the video. But there is a work around. Scroll down just a bit and there’s a link to the source, click on that and you can see the video.
New jet possible de-icer malfunction?
Holy shit!!
