Shaquille O’Neil is president of Mozambique?
Look at the guard giving a peek.
No surprise, Mozambique has had one party rule for 50 years.
Goofy salutes.
Mozambique was always Communist-allied. Back in the 1980s, it had a Soviet-allied government and anti-Communist rebels, backed by the US and South Africa, were fighting it. I was in Washington as a student at the time and one of my friends worked at the State Department and was assigned to RENAMO (the anti-Communist guerilla group fighting the government). I went to some event once that my friend set up where one of the leaders of RENAMO came to speak and try to get funding. They talked about how if they could not overthrow the Communist government of Mozambique, the rest of Southern Africa would turn Communist.
What a coup! A real prize! Africa will bleed Russia dry and there will be nothing to show for it
