The US president is portraying Zelenskyy as the villain as he strives for Russia’s approval
If Donald Trump could, he would fly to Munich to sign away Ukraine to Vladimir Putin, and return to wave the document as “peace in our time”, hoping to claim at least the second Fifa peace prize.
Whatever the complicated motives of Neville Chamberlain, his well-grounded fear after the carnage of a world war of another apocalypse and his wishful thinking that Hitler would be satiated after carving up Czechoslovakia, Chamberlain had not sent his son-in-law and former golf partner and real estate partner in advance to cut back-end deals with the Nazis to profit for his family and cronies.
Though Chamberlain is judged as grievously misguided in history, Winston Churchill eulogized his “perfect sincerity according to his lights” and declared his mistaken gesture as rooted in the “noble and benevolent instincts of the human heart”.
Putin has proposed a meeting with Trump and Xi Jinping to settle the Ukraine war on Russian terms without the presence of the troublesome Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Wall Street Journal described such a meeting as “unprecedented”.
As a historical matter, that would be untrue. The Czechs were not present at Munich when their country was delivered to Hitler.
Part of Trump’s urgent reason for selling out Ukraine is to cast blame before the midterm elections for the inflation wrought by his tariffs and Iran war. Panicked by plunging polls, he has ramped up his rhetoric against Zelenskyy as the alleged source of the crisis that Trump himself has created.
Portraying Zelenskyy as the villain, Trump projects himself, as usual, as the victim. His perceived political need and irreducible pathological...

The globalists must be terrified out of their wits to drag Sid Vicious from his crypt.
PS - Mr. Vicious is a highly reliable reverse barometer. You can never go wrong doing the opposite of what he says.

Zelensky is a villain. A no good shyster.
And we can thank Biden for getting us attached to that criminal country.

If Blumenthal and the Guardian don’t like it, it’s a wonderful plan.

Zelensky already agreed to be in the peace talks with the US and Russia, so this latest Russia hoax nonsense had a life of less than a day.

If you’re THE Sydney Blumenthal, I imagine you’re an expert and selling people out. But as a very smart FReeper recently said, people of his ilk apparently don’t possess any mirrors.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
I don't.
People like to put a lot of the blame on Obama. And he deserves his share but never forget that so much started under Clinton and even under Carter.

The American voters want lower gasoline prices.
American truckers want lower diesel prices.
Democrats have made affordability an issue.
Trump and the US Navy have restored Gulf oil volume. That still leaves the loss of Russian exports.
“To get along, go along.”
Famous DC saying
Russian trucks could run on biodiesel.
Is Zelensky going to kamikaze drone rapeseed fields?

“Russian expenditure of artillery, mortar, tank and rocket rounds is between ten to fifteen thousand rounds per day.”
How many trucks are required to carry it from the railheads?
How far would they have to travel each day?
Let’s say 500 trucks (30 rounds per truck) and 200 miles. That’s 100,000 truck miles or about 20,000 gallons of fuel per day.
That’s 500 barrels per day, or 1/20,000th of pre-war Russian crude oil output.

Trump, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter… whoever is running America, there is one basic rule of common sense that must never be abandoned:
America must NEVER kneel to the Islamo-commie Russia–Chechen–North Korean alliance of authoritarian and anti-American forces.
America has just paid a MASSIVE ransom (by lifting sanctions) in the case of Stephen Hubbard, an American kidnapped by Russia. Gone are the days when America vowed NEVER to negotiate with terrorists.
Today, the message seems to be this: they kidnap American citizens, America pays the ransom, and then, in a disturbing display of what looks like Stockholm syndrome, America turns around and tells the very people responsible: “You are humanitarians!”
This is beyond crazy. It is weak, counterproductive, and absolutely absurd.
