Today my daughter Stephanie would have turned 42. There won’t be a cake or a phone call. I’ll honor Stephanie’s birthday the way I have every day since February 23 — missing my daughter and grieving all the moments and memories that were stolen from us. Stephanie was stabbed to death inside a bus shelter in Hybla Valley, Virginia, on her way home. The man charged with killing her, Abdul Jalloh, is an illegal immigrant from Sierra Leone who had been arrested more than 30 times. Rape. Malicious wounding. Assault. Over and over, the charges were dropped by the office of Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano.

If i was the father of this girl, i would find Descano, physically beat him with all my might and call it restorative justice....
RAT D.A.’s are as bad as the liberal and foreign Judges sitting on the courts across this country.
The country is full of such prosecutors engaged in such malfeasance.
That POS needs more than that to descend down on him!
An outrage.
I’m surprised victims and their families haven’t gone after the enabling prosecutors.
Candidates Chevalier and Angie Nixon are among those making incendiary comments about whites being racists who kill blacks and about ICE agents who kidnap immigrants and “shoot people in cars”.
If someone merely pointed out the facts in this thread they would be doxxed, shadowbanned, stalked and kicked out of their employment.
“ I’m surprised victims and their families haven’t gone after the enabling prosecutors.”
I’d stand up and cheer if it did.

There are several legal, administrative, and
community avenues available to parents of victims:
Legal and Administrative Avenues
• Request a Formal Review: Victims and families can request a formal meeting with the Chief Prosecutor, District Attorney (DA), or State’s Attorney to appeal a decision not to prosecute or to seek a clearer explanation of the evidentiary hurdles.
• File a Complaint with Oversight Bodies: If prosecutor misconduct, bias, or conflict of interest is suspected, a formal complaint can be filed with the state bar association or a state judicial/prosecutorial inquiry commission.
• Involve Higher Authorities: In many jurisdictions, victims can petition the State Attorney General or the federal Department of Justice (DOJ) to review the case, especially if civil rights violations are suspected.
• Pursue Civil Litigation: Even if criminal prosecutors decline to bring charges or fail to secure a conviction, families can often file civil lawsuits (such as wrongful death or personal injury) against the perpetrator. Civil cases have a lower burden of proof (”preponderance of the evidence” vs. “beyond a reasonable doubt”).
• Engage Victim Advocates: Working with crime victim advocates or specialized non-profit legal clinics can help families navigate the complex legal system and ensure their statutory Victim Rights are being enforced.
• Raise Public Awareness: Families sometimes work with investigative journalists, community organizers, or social media campaigns to bring public scrutiny to a mishandled case, which can pressure a prosecutor’s office to re-examine the evidence.
• Secure Independent Legal Counsel: Hiring a private attorney who specializes in victims’ rights can provide an independent assessment of the case and help interface effectively with law enforcement and prosecutors.
If that were my daughter, and I had no other children or grandchildren, I’d just do my best to kill the guy. And get away with it. That’s what he deserves, death.
