Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says 9.5 million Ukrainians out of its population of almost 40 million are abroad since the war started. "This war pushed them out of Ukraine, 9.5 million. Can you imagine?" he says. "If the population of your country is 40 million, can you imagine that 20% to 25% are abroad from the beginning of this full-scale invasion?" he adds.

Zelensky ran on a platform that promised to end hostilities with Russia and then he immediately began poking the bear at the behest of EU politicians and the Democrats. The country that the largest number of Ukrainians have fled to is Russia despite other European countries having a much higher standard of living. What does that tell you?

These people left largely because they realized that Zelensky was actually leading them down the road to ruin.

Give all the kids a math test. Those that finish off in the top 50% bring them here along with their moms and one caretaker-husband or grandparent. 3 kids per couple minimum. Churches can sponsor them. Any troublemakers can be sent back. If they’ve seen war they’ll appreciate this country more than the riff-raff the left’s been letting in.

If they’re good at math they’ll learn english quicker.

“Initial UNHCR Data: In the first year following the 2022 invasion, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) recorded between 2.8 and 2.9 million Ukrainians entering Russia”

Zelensky ran on a platform that promised to end hostilities with Russia and then he immediately began poking the bear

Notice how Borisbots just make accusations=Zelensky "began poking the bear" without actually stating ONE thing Zelensky did which "poked" anybody, including Russia?

Fact is Zelensky tried to make peace with Putin via the Steinmeier Formula, but Russia refused to withdraw its troops from occupied Donbas.

• In October 2019, Ukraine agreed to the "Steinmeier Formula," which proposed holding local elections in separatist-held areas of Donbas under Ukrainian law, overseen by the OSCE, in exchange for potential self-governing status. This agreement triggered domestic protests in Kyiv over fears of capitulation.

• Paris Normandy Format Summit: On December 9, 2019, Zelenskyy met face-to-face with Vladimir Putin in Paris, France, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

• Results of the Paris Summit: The leaders agreed to a full ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, a prisoner-of-war swap (which saw around 200 detainees exchanged later that month), and military force disengagements in select areas. However, the parties failed to reach a consensus on core sticking points, including the timeline for the withdrawal of Russian-backed forces and local elections in separatist territories.

Ukraine did nothing to “poke the bear.” All they were trying to do was reestablish order over their sovereign territory, territory that had been seized by Russian surrogates. At no time did Ukraine pose a threat to Russia.

I was a guest lecturer at the College of Business in Moscow in 1995. I met several kids from the Ukraine. They were polite, well groomed and dressed well. The Russian kids were equally polite and well behaved.

I hate this for them.

Sure, Ukrainian people left because of Z and not because of Putin's invasion with its indiscriminate shelling. Idiocy

What was the promise?

When Zelensky won the election he could have kicked out the American troops that Trump had in Ukraine and sent back the weapons that President Trump had been sending to Ukraine under President Petro Poroshenko, did Zelensky promise anything regarding the American troops and weapons?

Didn’t push them out. All the men fled to Thailand and U.S. to party, do drugs and generally cause trouble instead of fighting to defend their corrupt country. F the Ukrainians and Russians. One side is Nazi trash and the other commie trash.

That’s a strange use of the term ‘lost.’ Usually ‘lost’ in war means KIA or MIA. This is more “departed because they did not wish to participate in the war” or possibly “because they’re on the now-controlled-by-Russia territory”?

This is seriously one of the foggiest wars of the last century, especially in the modern since-GW1 era where usually there’s near-real-time reporting of everything. This fact is not lost on people not being ideologues for some particular viewpoint.

All the men fled to Thailand and U.S. to party,

Ukrainian men between the ages of 23-60 were not allowed to leave due to martial law.

Ages 23 to 60: Men in this age bracket remain banned from leaving Ukraine unless they qualify for specific legal exemptions.

Can’t say I blame them for leaving. Their country is run by a grifting, corrupt dwarf, who obviously does not care what happens to its people.
