The Democrats and their allies in the media like to accuse Republicans of being the side that tries to sow distrust in American elections and insinuate that candidates like Donald Trump collude with enemies of America to rig elections. As usual, the projection is off the charts.

Evidence of that can be found almost every day, but six years ago one of the most egregious examples of the Dem-media-Dem circle of life happened. @WesternLensman has marked the anniversary of when Politico and a so-called "journalist" pushed this story designed to harm Trump just ahead of the 2020 election. One of the mischaracterizations of this story about the laptop, is that it was just one laptop. It was three laptops Hunter took to the shop. One was ultimately given back to Hunter, on-the-spot, because it was not repairable. So, there were two laptops left at the shop.

IMHO the New York Times lost forever its credibility when it refused to report or investigate the Hunter laptop to protect Biden. The legacy print and broadcast media followed its example. A critical percentage of the American people did not learn the truth and a demented, perverted, corrupt politician became President with disastrous consequences for the American people and the American nation. Whats more the NYT and the media defended and protected Biden at every turn. The NYT will never recover a shred of credibility until the Sulzberger family sells the paper and disassociates itself from its operations.
