US President Donald Trump says he does not believe that China and Russia were helping Iran “at all,” adding that Moscow and Beijing had “too much to lose” if they enabled Tehran.
Trump says on Truth Social that he had seen comments from his critics and opponents that China and Russia were helping Iran.
“If they are, it’s at a very low level, but I don’t believe they are at all. They have too much to lose, and we would know about it, and know about it very fast,” Trump writes.
Trump said in July he trusted China and Russia not to help Tehran in the Iran war, but warned that if they did get involved “it would be very bad for them.”
Trump has previously described Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin as “neutral” during the Iran war.
Moscow and Beijing maintain close ties with Tehran. Russia has said the Iran war could lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East. Beijing has condemned Washington’s attacks on Tehran as a brazen violation of Iran’s sovereignty.
Last month, Trump warned Xi against providing support to Iran when the Chinese leader visited Washington, and received assurances that China would not do so, the US ambassador to China said at the time.
The warning came amid reports that China had supplied Iran with shoulder-fired air-defense missile launchers and that Tehran had found ways to evade sanctions on its oil sales with Chinese help.
In September, Trump brushed aside a report that Iran acquired satellite images of a base in Jordan from Chinese entities before an attack that killed three US troops there in July.
An official told Bloomberg last week that Russia is providing the Islamic Republic with missiles.***

Is anyone surprised? Lines were drawn and sides taken in 2014 when the Ukie war was started. The Tit for Tat.
The U.S. and EU jumped all in with their Ukrainian proxy war against Russia. China and the Norkies did the same for Russia, Russia doing the same in Iran.
Why? China knows if the Neo Cons destroy Russia, they are next...Tit for Tat.
Seems to me Trump is more interested as being know as “The Art of the Deal” master now than actually resolving the problems such as in Iran. I hope I”m wrong.
I guess Trump feels he has to say this since he’s getting serious pushback on his agreement to buy diesel from Russia. With the whole world knowing that Russia will use the profits from this sale to continue sending weapons and missiles to Iran.

If Russia doesn’t succeed in taking Ukraine and overcome the American and Western aid, then the Communists in China could also fail? How about North Korea, are they also at risk if America and Europe saves Ukraine?

So if the IRAN-Russia-North Korea-China Alliance tells Trump :
“There is a city with little green men on the dark side of the moon...”
Trump will say 24 hours later :
“There is a city with little green men on the dark side of the moon!”
Oh, I have no doubt that that is how Trump sees it. And American servicemen killed or injured with weapons and intel purchased with with those funds by Iran are just part of the art of that deal.
Trump did not break an embargo he signed into law.
