LGBTQ advocates condemn president's rhetoric in tight Senate race in South Carolina
President Trump's latest Truth Social broadside is drawing attention not just for who he targeted, but how, NBC News reports. In a Monday post backing Republican Sen. Darline Graham in South Carolina, Trump repeatedly used an anti-trans slur to describe her opponent, Democratic Senate nominee Annie Andrews, who is not transgender, and said she is "not for South Carolina" and voters should show her that the state "is not for her." The White House, asked why he used the term, simply pointed reporters back to his post.
CNN reports that Andrews, a pediatrician, ignored the insult, saying she's running "to fight for my patients, my three kids, and South Carolina" and will "work with anyone" to lower costs. The Human Rights Campaign denounced Trump's language, while Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer labeled the attack "despicable" and called Andrews "exactly who South Carolina needs." Graham was appointed to fill her brother Lindsey Graham's seat after his death in July, and is running to keep the seat. Per the Hill, Trump is expected to campaign for Graham this month.

Trump never said she was, he was simply using a derogatory political nickname based on her overwhelming support for transgender issues.
What Trump actually said
In an October 5, 2026, Truth Social post, Trump called her “Annie ‘Trannie’ Andrews” and used the slur three times.
He also claimed she favored “Transgender for Everyone,” alongside other accusations about immigration, policing, taxes, the military, and gun rights. That distinction matters: he was using a derogatory political nickname, not presenting a substantiated claim about her gender identity.
How can you tell anymore? They all look like freaks of nature of one sort or another.
As Rush would have said, she’s a big proponent of addadictomy and choppadicoffamy surgeries for children.
it’s what The Media does - lies and leaves stuff out to craft a phony Narrative.
LOL!
“Little Orphan TrAnnie”
In your face, LGBTQ advocates! Mind your own damn bizness.
Grow up Evann Gastaldo.
Tranny hardly even sounds like a slur
I thought that was what trannies wanted to be called? When did it become a slur or does she think there is something wrong with being a trannie? Does she and those offended have something against trannies? Hard to keep up with these people.
It’s a distinction without a difference.
Michelle Obama’s a man. That ones even better than calling her Bigfoot.
Man?
Well, whatever the context, “blowing a tranny” is never a good thing.
How do we know that Democratic Senate nominee Annie Andrews is NOT a “transgender”? Transgender is, after all, only a figment of the imagination, and no living examples exist anywhere in the known world. NOT a real thing in any sense of the word, more honored in the abstract than in reality.
Protecting the right to believe in fantasy concepts is as demanding as the actual exercise of that belief in fantasy concepts.
Going down that rabbit hole may be an entertaining enterprise, but it has no value in the real world.
Don’t let weirdos define what verbiage is acceptable or not.
ISGAS.
I Scarcely Give A S***.
Evann Gestapo sounds like a whiny little bitch
