Kenya confirms first ever case of Ebola after man dies in Nairobi

Kenya confirmed its first ever case of Ebola on Tuesday after a Kenyan citizen who had travelled from the Democratic Republic of Congo died in Nairobi.

Kenya is the third country to record a case linked to the Ebola epidemic in eastern Congo, the second largest on record. Uganda reported 20 cases and two deaths earlier in the year but was declared Ebola-free in August.

The patient had been ill for about a month before travelling by road from Congo to Uganda's capital, Kampala, and then flying to Nairobi on Saturday, health minister Aden Duale told a news conference.

After arriving at Nairobi's international airport, he passed through health screening and was later taken by a relative to Nairobi Hospital. He was admitted with fever, chills and bleeding beneath the skin and was quickly placed in isolation, Duale said.

He died late on Monday.

Health ministry director general Patrick Amoth said the patient may have passed through airport screening because medication had masked his symptoms.

He said: "We believe that the patient knew that he was already ill and reached out to his relatives who transported him from the airport."

Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is a major transport hub in Africa, handling about nine million passengers a year.

Duale said Kenya was well-prepared to respond to Ebola cases.

Tho the mainstream media will not cover it, measles outbreaks, whooping cough outbreaks and even bedbug outbreaks as well as others have been and are traceable back to UN medically screened. Criminal Illegal Alien Scum.

The mainstream medias thought processes on this..........

“We don't want people, the little people, the average people, the sheeple to be hostile to the poor migrants.....”

~

THIS should scare the shit out of everyone.

Ebola outbreak in Congo surpasses 600 cases amid more violence

**How far is Africa from the US by plane?**

This air travel distance is equal to 8,945 miles.

**How long is the flight time from the Africa to the USA?**

Non-stop flight time from Johannesburg, South Africa to New York is around 16 hours 15 minutes.

The Kinshasa Capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo flight time to Johannesburg, South Africa's non stop is around 4 hours 15 minutes.

**Total 20 hours and 30 mimutes...(Lets round up to 24 hours.)**

#The Ebola incubation period, or the time interval from infection to onset of symptoms, is from 2 to 21 days. People are not contagious until they develop symptoms.

An infected person could realistically be in NYC in 24 hours if all the lights were green, EBOLA incubates from 2 to 21 DAYS before it is infectious. Just how far can they worm their way in to a city, a state the east coast, the west coast where ever before they start infecting others? A homeless camp here a bus station there an air port. One gets to good old Mexico and mingles with a thousand or so deserving dreaming ms-13 un accompanied minors.

Further the news article stated that the carrier infected with the ebola passed through the airport screening because he was medicated to SUPPRESS THE SYMPTOMS OF THE VIRUS!

Eeep! I have a friend and former boss who lives in Nairobi.
Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

The false positive rate was 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Hang the guilty. Free everyone else.

Excerpt you don’t fly from N’djili to Joberg, the main flights to connect to JFK or DFW are out of Charles de Gaulle Airport that’s how I have gotten to the DRC every time. It’s DFW direct to CDG then N’djili its still around 26 hours with layovers. To get to the gold mines in the east DRC you get on a turbo prop and fly 6+ more hours into a asphalt strip that’s run solely to land miners then it’s 6x6 truck or if you are important or expensive a MI8 helo or similar comes to get you off the air strip.

It’s moot now you cannot fly to the USA without spending 21 days in a third party country if you have set foot anywhere in the DRC in the prior 21 days this applies to US citizens and Perm Res too. All visas for noncitizens have be denied since before the World Cup. There is a quarantine center in Kenya set up for US citizens to sit out their 21 days specifically for this process. Mostly doctor’s without borders and geologists brave enough to risk taking a $500,000 4 month hitch in the east DRC gold mining zone which is ground zero for this Ebola outbreak its where it started and where it’s raging right now.

So while technically you could get to NYC or DFW in 24 hours you simply cannot because of travel restrictions and we use all digital means to enforce it that means cellphone tracking, chipped passports, bank account activity, social media meta data why do you think they scan your phones at CBP its part of the vetting to get back in and we are not allowing people to use connecting flights the passenger manifests are all indexed to the CBP and global surveillance system. You would have to someone get to Mexico or Canada both of which are also banning travelers from the DRC in the last 21 days of travels to set foot in MEX or CAN too if you got there you would then need to illegally cross all of this before you get to sick to move. This admin did what the last ones refused to do, lock down air travel from the hotzone looks like Kenya needs to be back in the list like Uganda was until it was declared Ebola free.
