Nina Manes was travelling from Dubai to Tel Aviv with her family when she asked her mother Tali to take her to the toilet near the front of the Boeing 737 MAX 8. As they approached, Tali heard shouting and banging coming from behind the cockpit door and immediately realised something was wrong.
She alerted a flight attendant before the cockpit door opened and revealed Captain Smit Machchhar covered in blood as he fought with his co-pilot. Tali began screaming for help, shouting: “He’s stabbing the pilot, he’s stabbing the pilot, come help!”
Her husband Tzvika heard the screams, collected Nina from the toilet and joined other passengers rushing towards the cockpit. He later said hearing his daughters cry, “Dad, we don’t want to die,” was what drove him to get involved.
Passengers eventually restrained the alleged attacker while additional pilots travelling onboard took control of the aircraft, which had plunged thousands of feet before diverting safely to Tabuk in Saudi Arabia.

God Blessed all the passengers with incredible recovery of the passengers and crew. (except the copilot Terrorist)
Israelis are always alert to danger, and they think/plan about responses

I wonder what the response would have been if this same scenario played out on a domestic USA airplane?

It’s not a slur. Americans just don’t live under the constant threat of terrorism that Israeli’s do. We expect others to act, and we are highly propagandized not to act.
The mother saved the day...not the daughter who was surely traumatized.

It is a stupid slur, Americans don’t tolerate anything on jetliners, they leap into action, the beat downs and duct tape happen fast.

The daughter yelled “Dad, we don’t want to die” which moved the father to resolute action.
Now had it been a Palestinian child, she would have joyfully shouted “aloha snack bar, lucky us, we’re all going to Mohammad’s paradise”.
To save time, it is terrorism we are talking about, so we don’t need to waste time about obnoxious women yelling being tolerated for 10 minutes without a beatdown.

The mother might not have heard the noise in the plane had the daughter not needed to use the restroom. And the daughter heard the noise and excited the mother to call for more help loudly.
