UAE is in serious trouble.
Israel is now suspecting the direct involvement of certain UAE officials in the attempted hijacking of FlyDubai Flight FZ1073.
Without several deliberate security violations, the hijacking would have been impossible.
To make matters even more suspicious, UAE and Saudi officials still refuse to release the name of the suicidal Omani pilot.
The pilot went through 2 body scanners, a metal detector and an X-ray scanner with a knife.
No alarm went off during the screening.
Another suspicion is that an influential airport official may have already placed the weapon inside the cockpit.
Things get even stranger.
Yesterday, Flight FZ1073 suddenly departed from a different terminal than usual.
It used Terminal 3 instead of Terminal 2.
Security screening is also much tighter at Terminal 3.
So there are questions over how the pilot could have taken a knife onto the aircraft without inside support.
Pilots on the flight are also required to be nationals of countries with diplomatic relations with Israel.
The pilot is from Oman.
And Oman has no diplomatic relations with Israel.
This is another major security breach.
The nationalities of the pilots were initially released as Russian and Ukrainian.
But later that turned out to be false.
The Omani pilot was being protected from the very beginning.
Now the pilot is being escorted to Abu Dhabi in an emergency move by Saudi authorities.
This is happening right after several questions were raised about the UAE.
All FlyDubai flights to Israel have been suspended.
Israel now wants its domestic security service, Shin Bet, to investigate the UAE.
Trump has announced that Iran was behind the hijacking.
He has promised severe retaliation against Iran after the midterms.
Things are getting catastrophic.

If I was a certain “UAE official” I think I would be getting my affairs in order.
FTA: “Russian and Ukrainian”
My take was they were the two pilots flying as passengers and operated the jet after the takedown.
I suspect us and/or the Israelis already know who they are. Looking for the bigger fish to float to the top.
“Without several deliberate security violations, the hijacking would have been impossible.“
You could say the same thing about September 11th, and many have.
I suppose the prudent thing is to ask before boarding “are any of the pilots Muslim?” How about the crew?
Knock knock.
Whose there?
Land Mossad.
Ah, very funny Mohammed! (Opens door)
Ahrhhhg!
Captain Smit Machchhar, an Indian national, was recovering in a hospital in Saudi Arabia on Thursday as the other pilot, so far identified only as an Omani citizen, was being interrogated elsewhere in the country. Machchhar was widely praised for his efforts to prevent the plane from crashing, opening the cockpit door and allowing passengers and crew to rush in. Little is known about the other pilot at this point. Questions about a possible motive, including whether it was terrorism-related, hang over the attack.
I’ve spent some time in the UAE....certainly not years or even months. And that certainly doesn’t make me an expert. But I’m inclined to doubt it. Of the Gulf states the UAE is the least savage...by far. One or more UAE residents/citizens may be involved but I can’t believe that the government itself was involved.
“Machchhar was widely praised for his efforts to prevent the plane from crashing, opening the cockpit door and allowing passengers and crew to rush in.”
The copilot was likely going for a 9-11 style attack in Tel Aviv. The Israeli passengers were a bonus but the primary goal had to be a target in Israel.
The pilot did a great job single handedly taking steps to prevent the death of all the souls on the aircraft and also preventing a significant terror attack in Israel. Look for Israel to recognize his heroic actions in coming days.
“The pilot went through 2 body scanners, a metal detector and an X-ray scanner with a knife.”
In the US, pilots (and flight attendents) simply show up in uniform with their carry-ons, show ID to TSA, and walk through, TOTALLY UNSCREENED. Watch them at the airport next time.

• What it is: A secure, expedited airport access system for eligible pilots and flight attendants to enter sterile areas without standard passenger screening”
UAE may be a bit of an evil state.
I read an article not long saying members of the UAE Royal Family are actually the ones behind financially funding the genocide of Christian’s in Sudan.
flyDubai is a state-owned airline.
Dubai has some splainin’ to do.
The UAE has some splainin’ to do.
