But these are freelance citizens doing the work. Where is the investigative media of yesteryear? Not doing much these days.
It was easy to determine dems are the leaders of the pack to participate in fraudulent projects for the money it generates. Fraudulent schemes generated million of dollars for the dems at taxpayers expense.

Programs that receive federal dollars presumably have federal oversight. What happens all too often is that Congress makes money available for programs but then turns administration over to the individual states.
Bottom line: Congress fails to properly audit the programs it creates and states don't care because they're spending federal money. The hypocrisy is that Congress fails at their oversight responsibility but then holds hearing to question and blame the people and programs they failed to oversee. Typical - our politicians create the problem and then get on a soapbox claiming they will 'get to the bottom of the problem' - a problem they created/allowed.
You can't despise the media enough.

Message: We presumed federal programs receiving tax dollars had federal oversight. Wrong. Congress allocates the billions then turns the administration of the monies over to individual states.

Congress fails at oversight responsibility then hypocritically holds hearing to raise questions and blames we, the people, for its abject failures. Politicians create the problem and then get on a soapbox claiming they will “get to the bottom of the problem” - a problem they created and allowed.
Taxpayers demand accountability in the spending of their tax dollars.
When my wife worked for the Secretary of State’s office in Illinois (when it was being run by George Ryan, who later became Governor and went to jail), people would come in with stacks of ID’s, public aid cards, etc., that they would unabashedly rifle through in front of my wife when obtaining a driver’s license renewal. She asked (sent letters to the Gov., Secy of State, etc.) why the office didn’t coordinate with the Social Security office next door to put a stop to all the fraud. No one cared.
(The 'press' has lost so much credibility with the American people they're being replaced by corrupt NEPO baby 'pollsters'... spinning new lies with numbers.)
How do freshman Dem Congress critters get elected with less than 10 grand in their combined bank accounts and yet in four years are multimillionaires?
Do they all have mysterious benefactors ?

BREAKING: I investigated SOMALI DAYCARES in the Seattle metro and uncovered over $5 MILLION of potential misuse of taxpayer funds.The West Seattle neighborhoods are FULL of these fraudulent "daycare" centers.When I knocked on doors, no one answered. Neighbors told me they have never seen any kids!
These individual daycares are receiving $40,000 - $70,000 per month.
