WAIT - this is about $100k??? In Minnesota it was NINE BILLION DOLLARS. And what government money was involved?? The guy Bernstein was a “shyster” for sure, but you can’t steal from Jewish schools without someone figuring it out. Much easier to steal from our stupid government than a Jewish school, I’m surprised he got the $100k.

I hate to say it, but a Hasidic group engaging in welfare fraud isn’t exactly news. They’ve been doing it for years and a lot of people, including politicians, have turned a blind eye because the Hasidic community votes.
It’s a big problem with multiculturalism. Politicians will appease small ethnic groups to gain their loyalty instead of working to make society as a whole better.
Every community has corrupt people in it.
