Sept 24 (Reuters) - A US appeals court has for now reinstated an Ohio law requiring residents to present documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote at the state's motor vehicle offices, in a boost for allies of President Donald Trump who want tighter voter registration rules.

Excellent news! On Aug. 26, a federal judge had blocked Ohio from enforcing a new requirement that people provide documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote at a motor vehicle bureau:
I'm sure this law must have been passed by a Dem controlled legislature, as we have been told there is no difference between Republicans and Democrats winning elections.

Now, on November 4, 2026, cancel EVERYBODY’s registration, forever ban registering at DMV, and require everybody to go to the Voter Registrar’s office and re-register in person.
That judge was a Democrat appointee.
The Court of Appeals ruling was 2-1, the two were Republican appointees and the 1 was a Dem appointee.
Yet another “no difference” moment, in addition to the legislation that was passed into law by Republican Party controlled legislature and signed into law by a Republcian governor that is in question.
All the more reason to “stay home” - no difference in who wins elections. < / s >

Of course the rat Judge said no. There is no point in even presenting a case. The Dem hack is going “rule” with the party no matter what is presented.
