...LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: California Governor Gavin Newsom on Saturday, September 19, signed a package of 13 election-related bills aimed at strengthening protections for the state’s voting process ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
The legislative package includes measures restricting the seizure of ballots and election records, imposing penalties for interference with mail ballots and limiting deceptive political advertising. Newsom and other California Democrats have said that the measures are intended to address concerns about potential federal involvement in the state’s elections, particularly over mail-in voting.

If any state can’t prove the integrity of its elections, its reps and senators shouldn’t even be seated. No representation without verification.
Most folks want voter ID, like 80-20. Shouldnt Gavin want to give his state what it wants instead of obstructing purely common sense measures to secure fair elections? 😂

The Trump EO regarding the USPS was only shot down by half. SCOTUS only ruled that it was not feasible to have the bar code identification available in time for the Nov 3 election.
The meaty part, that still remains, is the DOJ direct live to hold officials who allow a fraudulent vote criminally liable for allowing it to happen. Newsom is trying to withhold any evidence that would put his crooked officials in jail under civil rights violations.
There are already 22 people under investigation for this. I’m sure there are hundreds to follow after November 3. Now it looks like obstruction of a federal investigation can be added to his charges.
