Lindsay Clancy’s attorney on Monday called on the judge who oversaw her mistrial to investigate the holdout juror, claiming he may have inaccurately filled out jury forms or answered questions during the selection process.
Kevin Reddington, representing Clancy, also asked Judge William Sullivan to look at juror Michael Desronvil’s alleged domestic violence history and use of their cellphone during deliberations, according to a motion obtained by the New Haven Register.
Judge Sullivan has agreed to impound jury information and questionnaires filed before the trial, but has not yet ruled on Reddington’s motion.
Desronvil, a 48-year-old father, was the sole voice on the jury to call for Clancy to be found guilty of murdering her three children, after the other 11 jurors voted for her to be found not guilty due to suffering from postpartum psychosis.
Clancy is due back in Plymouth Superior Court in Massachusetts on Sept. 29, where Reddington is expected to request the charges be dropped since the jury, including Desronvil, allegedly agreed there was reasonable doubt the prosecution had proved its case.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz is also expected to announce whether Clancy will face a retrial on Sept. 29.
She faces three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Callan, 8 months, Cora, 5, and Dawson, 3, after she strangled them on Jan. 24, 2023, while her then-husband, Patrick Clancy, was out picking up food and running errands.
She then attempted suicide by slitting her wrists and neck and jump

Why? Does he want the judge to declare a mistrial or is this just a distraction from the lawyers legal problems?
This lawyer is scum. Everyone involved in this man’s persecution is despicable. I hope he sues the lot of them and wins big.
I am betting the prosecution will suddenly decide not to retry...

Funny how the lawyer doesnt demand the phone records of the other jurors who all were going to acquit her BEFORE deliberations even began. They all went in already deciding what they were going to do, but this ONE JUROR who used his brain is the one that this lawyer is against. Yeah, Lindsay Clancy is a cold blooded murderer, PERIOD, she should get the damn chair for what she did
Its Massachusetts, the same state that allows abortion til the moment of birth, they consider Clancy a hero, after all she just offed her kids, no different than having a late term abortion
If they're going to investigate his phone records, they have to investigate all 12 of them.
I'll bet they'll find that the lone juror is the only person who actually followed the judge's jury instructions.

I would think that the Judge would be grateful for the mistrial result.
Clearly, his handling of the Jury was a mistrial, in itself.
Justice was no where near that courtroom, in Massachusetts.

On an odd sidenote, her ex-husband has remarried to a woman who looks EXACTLY like the triple child killer. Weird. That woman is repulsive. Everyday he has breakfast with "Lindsay II".

The juror has addressed this issue already, and said he answered the questions appropriately.
The lawyers doesn't want to look at those, and the prosecution or the judge (or the media) doesn't want to go there.
