I want to set the tour drama aside for a moment, because underneath the chanting and the flags is a premise nobody in that crowd seems to have actually examined: free Palestine from what, exactly, to become what, exactly?
There has never been a sovereign Palestinian state. Not once, not ever, not under any government, any constitution, any flag flying over internationally recognized borders. The land in question passed from the Ottoman Empire to the British Mandate to a 1947 partition plan the surrounding Arab nations rejected outright, choosing war instead. From 1948 to 1967, the West Bank sat under Jordanian control and Gaza under Egyptian control — not under Palestinian self-governance, and neither Jordan nor Egypt showed the slightest interest in creating one during those nineteen years when they held the exact territory activists now insist must be "freed." Today's Palestinian Authority holds observer status at the United Nations, not full member-state recognition, because full statehood has never actually existed to lose.

The only time any MidEast organization (e.g., PalAuthoity, hamas, etc) has ever attempted a deal with Israel on a two-state solution or a “free Palestine” went just fine until they inserted a last-minute demand that Israel be disbanded.
100% of the time. At least six times in history international gov’ts/etc negotiated the creation of such a country and it all fell apart ‘cause not one “palestinian/gazan” is willing to live in the area so long as the Jews are allowed to live there, too.
It is like taking your kiddies to a dragqueen hour show and the only time you are greeted is when they also ask how much you want for the kiddies.
Why, oh why, do you keep trying this? You cannot negotiate with evil. Never.
So if there is not going to be a Palestinian state should everyone who lives in the west bank and Gaza get to vote in the Israeli elections?
I think the great comedian Jerry Seinfeld said it best when recently prompted by one of these idiots in NYC to “can you give us a free palestine?”

The next by the Israelis with Gaza.
Obviously doesn’t work. The West Bank with the PA is not working either.
The West Bank and Gaza should just be Israeli territory. Divide it up into political jurisdictions and have elections for new parliamentary members.
What has been present in the geographical area known as Palestine is a succession of three Jewish states, the current one established in 1948.

I agree, but disagree. Respectfully, there is a two-state solution that was agreed on a long time ago that we forget about and it's still in place. The other state is called Jordan. Every time someone says "two-state solution" we should say, "Agreed. Jordan is the other state. So enjoy it."
Why Israel? The Arabs in the West Bank had Jordanian citizenship (until Jordan kicked them out) and still carry Jordanian passports. Why can’t they vote in Jordan?
A similar situation exists for Gazans and Egypt. Do you ask why they can’t vote in Egyptian elections?
Indeed. Palestinians were allowed to migrate to Jordan and tried to overthrow the Monarchy. Palestinians migrated to Lebanon and started a civil war that severely damaged the only Christian nation on the Mideast. Egypt built a wall between Gaza and Egypt that is almost air tight. NOBODY wants Palestinians into Palestine.

Because they dont live in Egypt or Jordan. If Gaza and the West Bank are going to be part of Israel and governed by Israel then the people who live there should have a vote. Governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. The Arabs in Israel get to vote in knesset elections
