Outgoing Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said Thursday that he would not vote for Bo French for Texas railroad commissioner following the candidate's "racist comments," which have drawn intense pushback from lawmakers.
"He's an embarrassment to the Republican Party, and he's going to drag the whole ticket down because of his racist comments," Cornyn told the Washington Examiner of French, who is running to be Texas' rail commissioner, a statewide position that regulates the state's oil and natural gas production.
Cornyn said he was unsure whether he would vote for Democratic candidate Jon Rosenthal: "I may just leave it blank."

French was not talking about his fellow Texans. He was talking about students on visas.
Now, that statement would not cause a ripple of concern to his fellow Texans, but it gives Rove and Coryn an excuse to not vote for a MAGA adherent.

Republicans certainly are the stupidest party. This guy is running for something like the stamp collecting commission that no one cares about. Democrats are full blown racists every day of the week, rather than talk about that the republican fools are saying this nobody is “dragging down the entire ticket”.
Yeah maybe we should switch out Trump for Kamala because the guy running for Texas road kill commission said something.
Why should this election be any different? I assume Cornyn always just votes a straight Democrat ticket.
If Bo becomes Railroad Commisioner, he becomes the one responsible for regulating the oil and gas industry for the state of Texas.
So it's actually a very big deal.
Purposely importing non-whites as to make White people a minority in their own country is a lot more racist t than anything Bo French said.
RINOs certainly are stupid. A senator who lost his party primary and a has been "political advisor" busy themselves with portraying another as "racist" is about as "Democrat" as it comes....
As to a "stupidest party," and especially in terms of policy enacted when they get into positions of power, it surely seems the political Left worldwide has a lock on the superlative descriptor -- stupidest.
