NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Mayor Justin Elicker is urging for changes at Tweed New Haven Airport in response to recent alleged U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity there.
Elicker formally asked Tweed to “discontinue providing any preferential parking to ICE,” facilitate demonstrators, and post signage notifying community members of their rights, among other requests that the airport “not exceed any federal requirements by extending additional assistance to ICE.”
A Tweed spokesperson said clear parking and access procedures help them keep everyone safe and the airport orderly, adding Tweed has no visibility into (or influence over) enforcement activity.

These detentions by ICE are deeply concerning, particularly because, based on public reports, these individuals appear to have no criminal history,” Elicker continued.

ICE is a a federal billion ton gorilla. it can park wherever it wants.
Sue the Mayor and City Council for millions of dollars.
Isn’t impeding a federal official in the performance of his duties a Federal crime? Arresting a few of these traitors pretending to be mayors might have a salutary effect.
How about Mayor Dildo give up their parking and pay the tax payers for doing that mayor job?

If I had to guess, as they are LE they used what ever designed parking State Police use. Of course he has no authority to dictate how the independent state airport authority handles parking but at lease he can get a
