Hecklers disrupt Bessent's congressional hearing, call him "war criminal" saying sanctions kill Iranians and Cubans, shouting "HOW DARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU!" just like the doom goblin. Bailiffs eject them from chamber. Bessent answers them calmly and with reason that goes right over their shrieky heads.

If Sanctions were that effective than those countries would have surrendered already.

Sanctions are hurting Iran as much as it would hurt me if my social security check was cut by 90%. If they were not hurting Iran, why would anyone need to protest the sanctions?

Bill of rights specifies “peaceably assemble”. This is not that. Nor were the theatrics around Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. Congress is the “sacred citadel of democracy,” except when Dems have an axe to grind.
