Mamdani against Trump: Twenty-two states across the US are suing the Trump administration over a new rule scheduled to take effect on Friday that will make it more difficult for immigrants from many countries to enter the United States.
The new rule is intended to give immigration officials broader discretion and the ability to deny immigrants entry to the US if there is concern that they will require public assistance to cover their living, housing, or healthcare expenses.
The rule also applies to families with legal status in the US, who could face deportation if they seek financial assistance for housing or healthcare needs.
According to New York Attorney General Letitia James and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the new rule will cost states across the US billions of dollars in federal grants intended to assist immigrants.

Trump sued, case #968 since he took office. How the hell is there a way to know how many times he has been sued around the country since he took office.
If there’s a law punishing frivolous lawsuits against the federal government, there’ll be a new lawsuit, claiming that it cuts federal aid to litigation attorneys.

Hardly “new”. These bastards lie about everything. They can’t help themselves. Everything. Every thing.
In some ways this is good. If they could keep it semi-plausible, it might have worked. As it is, everybody now knows everything they say is BS. “What else are they lying about?” is the operative thought process.
Long ago I just started taking a contrary view. Whatever they were for, I became against it just on reasonable suspicion. If they are against something, it’s probably a pretty good idea, generally speaking. Hasn’t failed me yet.

The move has been long-coming, as the Trump admin has been barreling towards making clear that NO FOREIGNER has a right to come to America and LEECH off the taxpayer dollar.
The benefits included in the public charge law are food stamps, Medicaid, government housing and more
Expect green cards to be revoked or declined.
This is ENFORCING EXISTING LAW and Democrats don’t stand a chance in court! But I would NOT be surprised if an activist judge first blocks the policy before it makes its way up the federal court system, possibly to SCOTUS
But the executive authority here is rock solid. DENY, DEPORT, AMERICANS FIRST 🇺🇸
The Dems want indigent immigrants, not those looking for work. People with their hand out tend to be beholden to those that give them free stuff. Trump, and the rest of us, should tell them to pound sand.
Simple solution: Repeal the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (aka the Hart-Celler Act).
