German Diocese of Erfurt Hosts Ecumenical Prayer Service for Sexual Deviants

This past Saturday, Sep. 5, 2026, the German city of Erfurt hosted a so-called Christopher Street Day (CSD) event, which is basically the European version of what in the United States is a ‘gay pride’ parade.

The idea behind such an event is for sodomites and aberrosexuals of every kind, as well as their supporters, to walk through the streets while flaunting their attachment to unnatural vice, which they celebrate and glorify. In this manner they also reinforce their social presence and march for greater acceptance, equal rights, etc., ad nauseam.

The Christopher Street Day 2026 parade in Erfurt included people wearing dog masks and similar gear (see video clip here — no nudity is shown), perhaps because nothing says ‘human dignity’ quite like identifying as a canine! While this is utterly revolting, it is to be expected in a way. After all, perverts are going to do perverse things.

But then there was something even more scandalous: an ecumenical prayer service (Gottesdienst, literally ‘divine service’) celebrating sexual deviancy. This ecumenical abomination was held at the local ‘Catholic’ (Novus Ordo) parish church of St. Severus, which is part of the diocese of Erfurt and situated directly next to the gorgeous cathedral.

The abominable spectacle included also members of the blasphemous aberrosexual activist group ‘Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’, which consists mostly of cross-dressing men who revel in expressing contempt for Catholicism, consecrated life, and the virtue of chastity as they add anti-Catholic blasphemy and sacrilege to their advocacy of sexual perversion.

Obviously, such a disgusting prayer service held in an official diocesan church right next to the cathedral for such a high-profile event could not have taken place without the clear knowledge and permission of the local bishop.

That man is ‘Bishop’ Ulrich Neymeyr (b. 1957), appointed to the post in 2014 by Jorge Bergoglio (‘Pope Francis’):

How would a real Roman Catholic bishop have responded to a Christopher Street Day event?

First of all, he would have condemned it in no uncertain terms and forbidden all Catholics in his diocese from participating in the event or supporting it in any way, under pain of excommunication.

Afterwards, he would perhaps have exorcised the entire city; he would certainly have carried out a solemn and public act of reparation, begging God for mercy for and making satisfaction to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He would have led a penitential procession through the entire city and called on all Catholics to fast and abstain from meat for a few days.

A real Catholic shepherd would also have directed all members of the diocese to offer prayers for the conversion of these wretched souls trapped in the vices of lust, pride, and unbelief. No doubt he would also have found a way to offer them spiritual help so they could be freed from their frightful slavery to the flesh and the devil.

A mere 15 years ago, such brazen endorsements of LGBTQi2S+∞XYZ perversion were unthinkable even in the Vatican II Sect. OK, maybe not in Germany, but certainly in the United States. After all, even the New Church of Vatican II officially rejects sodomy and all sins against chastity and purity. But then came ‘Pope’ Francis, and the floodgates were opened. With his primacy of the pastoral over the doctrinal — remember, he taught that “realities are greater than ideas” (Evangelii Gaudium, n. 231) — it simply didn’t matter so much anymore what was taught or believed, what mattered was what was done. Francis’ revolution was mostly one of action.

Since the ‘pontificate’ of Bergoglio, things have deteriorated rapidly in Novus Ordo Land.

Recall, for instance, that in 2018, Austrian ‘bishop’ Wilhelm Krautwaschl was in the news approving of, and joining in, the celebration Christopher Street Day. As the deviant festivity happened to coincide with the 800th anniversary of his diocese of Graz-Seckau, he was happy to observe both together: “We’re not just celebrating at the same time, we’re celebrating together, because love is what matters most”, the anti-Catholic pseudo-bishop glibly remarked to the press. He added: “It is also important to apologize. Christians should ask for forgiveness for having supported wrong decisions.”
