OKINAWA, Japan - West Coast-based Naval special warfare operators train members of a Japanese Special Boat Unit on AeroVironment RQ-20 Puma operations at Naval Base White Beach in Okinawa, Japan. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.

Heroes Come In All Forms!!

Navy Wounded Warrior is hosting the Navy Team Trials at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam February 22 through March 4. Sailors and Coast Guardsmen who are seriously wounded, ill, or injured are competing across 11 sports that have been adapted to their individual abilities. At the close of Team Trials, a selection from of athletes will be invited to participate in this year's Department of Defense Warrior Games in Orlando, Fla.

That Is So Cute!!

Marines from Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, visit with Red Cross therapy dog Thea in the Yukon Training Area of Fort Wainwright. The Marines were in Alaska to participate in the Arctic Edge exercise and provide HIMARS support for a variety of training objectives.

Finally sitting down with some supper to pacify my rumbling tummy. I managed to get some mowing done in time to finish before dark. Barely. Now if I can get the back yard tomorrow, I’ll be happy ..... for now. LOL

It was a pretty good day...despite not getting my nap. LOL! I didn’t do much. Which is how I like it.

Bravo to you for getting some mowing done. I know looking out there and seeing nice neat lawn makes you feel good...and it should! If only it would actually cool off.

I have a feeling you won’t be up til almost 4 a.m. tonight. LOL

I won’t call the front yard neat but at least it’s scalped. Still a lot of grass clippings from last month but they’re chopped up more and scattered better.

Lordy, I hope not. I got totally involved in making a t-shirt through Cafe Press. [which I finally did find. The first one was NOT Cafe Press. I was too tired to really notice, I guess] I was having too much fun.

BTW, if you find that “original” fighting eagle, THAT’S the one I’d want on a t-shirt when I make one.

You know, you should make them for your R-ladies to sell. Do you think it’d do well?

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in something and not notice the time whizzing by. LOL

I’ve never seen the original graphic. If I had, I’ve have it on file.

I don’t know if they’d want to have shirts made with the graphic or not. It isn’t really their style. We have a lot of beautiful designs we sell now.

It sure is easy to get your attention focused and not look at the clock. Most of the time, it’s shows I’m watching. LOL! And there are sooooo many. 👀

I just got my shower and now, I’m reeeeeally sleepy.

I’ve done it many a time. LOL Some things are easy to get caught up in.

Showers are pretty good at sucking the life out and leaving you relaxed and sleepy. :-)

It sure did that. My energy is slowly coming back after having some diet Coke, but I don’t think I’m gonna be able to stay up as late as usual. We’ll see. LOL!

So. Friday you and the R ladies are setting up a tent? Where will it be. Is that the one that will be in Cowan? I’ll have to take a peek at the cam that day to see what it’s like.
