BREAKING: The Missouri Supreme Court has just REINSTATED the OLD US Congressional map, giving Democrats a seat back in the state, DESPITE the new map being passed into law a YEAR AGO
This process was INTENTIONALLY slow walked to RUN THE CLOCK OUT.
Absolutely unreal.

cynical cheating can lead to war.
Express it to the USSC. Primaries are over, how can you have new primaries in 2 months, plus all of the printing?

So how do you have a primary election using one map and then the general election using another?

There is that constitutional thing where the elections are up to the legislatures. And the courts have no say in it. But as long as we are using the courts then it time for The USSC to explain how it is too late to change the districts for this election.

And what happened to not changing districts or election law so close to an election?
St. Louis and Kansas City are always the last to turn in their election results so they know how many ballots to inject.
Elections are about a community of voters choosing their own representative. The ruling from the state Supreme Court is forcing someone else's representative choice onto another district's voters.
The voters who lost their primary choice have lost their consent to be governed by imposing someone else's choice onto them.

Primaries are for the political parties, not the state. Republicans got ahead of their skis on this one, and now they’ll have to figure out how to adjust in the next 4 weeks.
