Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed loved the Green New Deal, which is economic poison for his state’s economy. That’s why he tried to bury his tweets supporting it, though it’s not shocking given his far-left views. Okay, it’s not the most earth-shattering news that El-Sayed is a green socialist, but he’s been haggled over his support for Hasan Piker and his virulent antisemitic views, and the concerns of Jewish voters, which his campaign has handled miserably. Black and Jewish voters are the two largest minority voting blocs in the state, and they hate this guy.
But there’s another headache coming: El-Sayed’s deleted tweets about the 9/11 attacks over the years. The best part is that he tried to turn the deadliest terror attack into a “both sides” argument, saying 9/11 was awful, but our justified war against terrorism, a long campaign of self-defense, was somehow equally atrocious. No, sir, only radical Islam is evil, along with the terrorism it breeds, like COVID in a Wuhan lab.
There are 11 tweets from 2020 to 2022 in which this guy decided to trivialize that awful day. And as you could expect, he bashes America more than al-Qaeda. Are we shocked? No, this is who this guy is and has been for years. It only got masked because Gretchen Whitmer took him to the woodshed the last time he ran for statewide office.
In a series of tweets, El-Sayed used the COVID pandemic to thread in 9/11 hot takes, some of which were especially heinous. Then, using past wars and the pandemic to make more inane points about the 9/11attacks. COVID really was a magnet for total lunacy on this subject for Abdul:

The author is correct. This is not about white supremacy!
The Islamocommies always try to weave in the “cry racism” no matter the subject being discussed.
The subject is Islam.
Islam is incompatible with western values.
Islam has come to usurp, not assimilate.
It will NOT be tolerated.
wow no wonder he deleted them. democrats are scraping bottom of the barrel garbage here.
Ya mean like they did with that ex-Nazi in Maine? What was his name? Graham Platner?

Say it loud, say it proud! Don't disrespect his father!
Say it with me, Senator Mike Rogers.
Strikes me as simply crazy to afford any group that punishes apostasy with death as a 'religion'.
It's a cult, and should be treated as such.
I agree.
A death cult!
I didn’t read a single word of his that unequivocally condemned islamic terrorism.
These beliefs only endear him to his voters, who either hate America or hate themselves, or both.
Agreed
I'm betting you never will. That would be apostasy.
I mean, can you condemn Islam, but claim it was taqiyya later?
Questions, questions, questions, flooding into the mind of the concerned young person today.
Across major dictionaries, "to haggle" consistently refers to bargaining or arguing to reach an agreement, most often about cost:
Oxford Learner’s Dictionary: to argue with someone to reach an agreement, especially about price. The term is commonly used in markets, negotiations, and any situation where price or terms are flexible.Cambridge Dictionary: to attempt to decide on a price or conditions acceptable to both buyer and seller, usually by arguing.
Merriam‑Webster: intransitive verb meaning to bargain or wrangle.
Collins Dictionary: to argue before reaching an agreement, especially about cost.
The Free Dictionary: to bargain or argue in an attempt to come to terms.
-A.I.
So even when used metaphorically, the verb "to haggle" cannot be appropriate in this context. It is simply not possible to "haggle" a person over something.

“It will NOT be tolerated.”
But it is, sadly.
Vespa probably meant, “hassled”. (IDK.)

“A death cult!”
As a death cult, they shouldn’t mind dying.
