Germany’s Foreign and Interior Ministers spoke publicly in Berlin on Sep. 1, 2026, to publicly announce new measures the German government will take against Russia in light of “police investigations” and “intelligence findings” which conclude that a “low-level” Russian agent was behind the drone incidents at Leipzig in August.
Security services were first alerted to a potential threat when a quadcopter drone was discovered on the airport tarmac next to a parked Antonov An-124 belonging to the Ukrainian state-owned Antonov Airlines. 800 grams of explosives were attached to the drone, which CCTV footage showed impacting the wing of the aircraft before falling to the ground without detonating.
Antonov’s aircraft have used Leipzig Airport in central eastern Germany as a hub for many years, though it has become the airline’s primary base of operations since Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Its fleet of An-124 transports, the heaviest active transport aircraft type in the world, are used extensively to support and supply Ukraine’s defensive efforts. The airport, then, would be a lucrative target for any Russian or Russia-aligned actors.

Poland launched on Monday an investigation into a fire at a drone production factory south of Warsaw, suspecting terrorism and the involvement of a foreign intelligence service.
The prosecution said the probe is looking into the possible "participation in the activities of a foreign intelligence service directed against the Republic of Poland and for a terrorist offence, consisting of deliberately causing a fire on the premises of the WB Electronics factory using a device containing flammable materials."
A fire was reported at the WB Electronics factory in Skarzysko-Kamienna, located 150 kilometers south of Warsaw, shortly after midnight on Monday. The facility manufactures key components for drones.

Lovnidol (2011): An explosion hit a weapons warehouse.
Iganovo (2015): Two blasts hit production facilities.
Maglizh (2020): An explosion destroyed a building at the Arsenal weapons factory.
The Gebrev Poisoning (2015): Emilian Gebrev, the owner of EMCO, survived an apparent poisoning attempt by Russian agents in 2015. Bulgarian prosecutors later charged three Russian operatives in absentia for the poisoning and issued warrants for six Russian citizens linked to the depot explosions.

That would not surprise me at all. The populist AfD in recent polls has been rapidly rising in popularity… so much so that the ruling parties in Germany are discussing banning the party. The German government has recently been doing things apparently designed to scare the German people. An example is the recent RIDICULOUS warning that Germans should prepare for possible air raids (you know… the old tried-and-true “RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA” scares).
So yes, a false flag drone attack wouldn’t be surprising.

Putin invaded Ukraine to seize territory, launching the largest war in Europe since WW2, but its just crazy for the rest of Europe to be worried about Russia. Its just "“RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA” scares". Okay
So its pretty easy to scare people with something they already are inclined to believe, and its not like they haven't invaded Germany before: the seven year war in 1760, the Napoleonic wars in 1813, world war 1914 and last time in world war 2 1944-5
Perhaps Russia should stop invading other countries and be content with just screwing up their own nations like most other countries - but they can't because Russians are paranoid alcoholics addicted to brutality and jackassery, believing they are the piece of shit the universe revolves around.
Do I think Russia will attack Germany? As much as I wish they would as Germany is the worst nation ever, I don't think they will; however, if I was Germany and had a history of a Russia attacking 4 times in the 3 centuries I'd would think it might be prudent to be ready especially with a stupid crazy Putin who trying to get the Soviet Union back together.
