President Donald Trump has threatened to blow up Kharg Island to "smithereens" after Iran attacked two US bases in Jordan following a US strike on two launchers on Iran's Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
~snip~
In another post on Monday, the president said that they are a "failed nation" with sky-high inflation, no navy and no air force. "The only thing they have is FAKE NEWS from the USA, a willingness to kill their protesters (now over 100,000 people dead. They must be tried for war crimes against humanity!), and a good line of 'BULLSH*T,'" Trump added.

And yet they still hit us.
Ankle biter bump
So that is an AI pic?
Apparently they also have enough ballistic missiles to “project power outside their own borders”.
Childish, AI video clips are not how you fight a war.
that’s why he is so big on data centers - to create more AI slop like this.
Islam has been at war with the West for 1,400 years. Unless you kill every one of them, salt the lands where they live, and occupy their territories forever, they’re not going away. The best you can hope for is some measure of containment.
He’s trolllng them not us. So unsophisticated to get riled by unintended trolling by Trump.
This demonstrates the absolute necessity of destroying Iran's ballistic missile capability and enabling regime change.
The recent attack on our airbases in Jordan demonstrates that, even with a massively degraded missile capability, Iran is still a dangerous adversary capable of attacking even a well defended target.
And this is with Iran's existing inventory of mostly low technology missiles.
Iran was actively producing new generations of far more sophisticated missiles and had a whole new generation of long range and intercontinental ballistic reaching production capable of delivering nuclear weapons.
Had Iran been able to launch coordinated, saturation attacks with their massive inventory of existing missiles combined with their new generations of longer range, more capable missiles and drones using a mix of nuclear warheads the damage would be astronomical.
The amazing thing is that many people seem to be blaming President Trump for his decision to confront the threat by Iran which has been remarkably successful while ignoring the fact that previous administrations negligently looked the other way or, like the Obama and Biden Administrations, actively enabled Iran's development , production and deployment of it's extensive missile , drone and nuclear weapons programs that got us to the point where de fanging Iran is such a difficult, but necessary proposition .
I agree.
This conflict and some previous ones are more like fist fights and posturing between high school males for dominance than warfare.
But, it’s not entirely Trumps fault. I suspect he’s trying to not cause unnecessary destruction and collateral deaths in Iran.
It seems the nature of politics and war since WW-2.
Blow up Kharg Island? Probably create the biggest oil slick in history. The Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea could catch on fire.
Take out the pipeline and pumping station that connects Kharg with the Iranian mainland. If they can’t pump oil to Kharg then it is useless.
We don’t need to blow it up. One or two smart munitions would do the job. Just “unplug” it.
Trolling IRGC not you.
Different day, same empty threat.
Yeah, but lucky for us BECAUSE OF PRESIDENT TRUMP they don't have nukes to put on top of those ICBM's. Is it true they can hit London but NOT the US yet?
Trump needs to tone this down until after the midterm elections in November. This war is unpopular and he needs to take a hint quickly.
And Trump is waiting for what???
