Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin on Monday announced an inter-agency crackdown on fraud in the trucking industry.
The pair appeared alongside White House Fraud Task Force Vice Chairman Andrew Ferguson and other officials in a joint press conference in Detroit, Mich.
"Today, what we are announcing is an emergency executive shutdown of 110 driving schools," Duffy said. The Transportation secretary further indicated that many driving schools had credentialed unqualified drivers and many more lacked proper facilities to train truck drivers.
"We also have shut down 160 additional schools," he added, indicating that they lacked proper facilities to properly train truck drivers.
Present for the press conference were several people who had been in car accidents with illegal immigrants who improperly received commercial drivers' licenses.

I believe most of our nation’s debt is due to fraud and corruption. Get rid of the fraud, deport the illegal alien criminals, and watch our debt decrease.

“Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Derek Barrs: “Platinum Plus Truck Driving School in California certified 36 drivers who were later cited for these English language proficiency violations, and one of these trainees killed someone in Oklahoma that should never have been on the roadway.”
“ASC Technical Institute in Texas certified 58 of these drivers, and one of these trainees ran a stop sign and killed a local man in a Texas County.” “It’s UNACCEPTABLE.””

Probably related to student loans, Pell grants etc. Call yourself a “school” and the money flows in.
Must be slightly dyslexic, saw title and immediately thought of Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
Yeah to get a certificate from those schools you had to complete a course involving watching “Smokey and the Bandit” and be able to spell “CB”.
Duffy also disclosed today that Homeland Security Investigations “is investigating state motor vehicle employees suspected of accepting payments to help illegal aliens bypass driver’s license and CDL requirements. Investigators have arrested numerous subjects for official misconduct and misappropriation of state identification documents.”
Hold the instructors, management, and owners responsible for any trucking crime committed by the students.
If someone died, they all assisted in those deaths.
