A Wyoming woman who shot and killed her 11-month-old boy during a brief standoff with law enforcement after allegedly kidnapping him and fleeing to New Mexico has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder.
Madeline Daly, 36, pleaded guilty this week in the Sixth Judicial District Court in Silver City, New Mexico, which eliminates the need for a trial that had been scheduled to begin Jan. 11, 2027, according to the local district attorney’s office.

I believe that women kill their children at significantly higher rates than men. And that’s not even taking abortion into consideration. Society needs to work on getting a firmer grasp of the feminine nature. There is plenty of talk of “toxic masculinity” but I believe that is almost entirely a smokescreen to hide the reality of what women are like in an age of women’s liberation. It’s not pretty.

You are quoting statistics regarding filicide, which is generally considered killing one child. The Clancy case is based on family annihilators, where an entire family is murdered, which is committed by fathers almost 90% more than mothers. Which in my opinion should have been investigated in the Clancy case.

That’s how I understood the title at first glance.
Thanx for the indo. The Chris Watts murder of his two little girls and pregnant wife really stood out for me in this Lindsay Clancy murder case. Initially, Watts claimed he found his two little girls dead, claiming his wife strangled them in their beds. Then he said, he was so devastated, because his wife had killed them that he then strangled her. Fortunately, the police didn’t buy it, continued the investigation and he confessed. The little girls were found in an oil storage tank. His motivation, he was in love with another woman and there were financial problems.
This wasn’t a lot different from the Clancy children murders. There was zero investigation, and quite a few inconsistencies on his part. He said she killed the kids and tried to commit suicide, that was that. She claims she has no memory of that night, except a male voice telling her to do it. I believe this case deserved a far more thorough investigation primarily because of the stark difference of statistics showing fathers are family annihilators at a rate of 83% more than mothers.
