California Gov. Gavin Newsom and wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom are selling their $7.5 million Sacramento-area residence — yet the governor claims he’s was barely aware of one of the home’s key amenities.
At a press conference, the winemaker-turned-pol was put on the spot about whether he even filled the home’s massive 5,000-bottle wine cellar.
... California’s first couple listed the home for $7.5 million Tuesday — double what they paid for it eight years ago, according to its Zillow real estate listing.
The secluded home features a “personal wellness oasis,” a resort-style pool, full-size tennis court, and a “private casita” in addition to the sprawling basement booze cave, according to a property description.

I haven’t been in the basement for awhile. I will head down there tomorrow to see if I have a massive wine room that I forgot about.

I average about 5 bottles at any given time in my “cellar” closet. But I am taking a note not to make Newsom’s mistake, and to include $50 in the price of the home when I put it on the market.

Newsome was stunned by learning he had this little nook hidden on the multi-million dollar premises?
