Three officials within the U.S. Secret Service’s communications office – including the agency’s top spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi – have been removed from their posts and stripped of their security clearances as investigators examine how classified or sensitive information reached the press, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
The three were escorted from Secret Service headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Monday and formally designated “do not admit,” meaning they are barred from entering agency facilities, two sources told RealClearPolitics, which first reported on the suspensions. One of those sources said both the FBI and CIA are participating in the inquiry, pointing to a probe with more weight than a routine internal personnel matter.
All three employees are based in the communications office. Placing Secret Service agents or officials on administrative leave and suspending security clearances is standard practice during an investigation and not a confirmation of wrongdoing.
The Secret Service itself has offered a more limited public accounting of the suspensions and probe. In a statement Tuesday, an agency spokesperson said three non-law enforcement personnel had been placed on leave pending a review by the Office of Professional Responsibility, the internal body that handles misconduct cases. The agency did not name the employees, did not describe what they are accused of, and did not address whether the FBI or CIA are involved.
The statement leaned on the agency’s broader mission, with the spokesperson stressing that the Secret Service holds itself to strict standards of professionalism and integrity as it carries out its protective duties, and that its workforce is expected to show unwavering commitment to duty, honesty, and courage. The agency said it could not comment further while the review is underway.

Hmmmmm.....what about the HEAD of the SS???
prediction : this is the last we will hear about this - they will either get paid off to leave, or given early retirement will full generous pension - and nobody will be held accountable or punished.
What about him?
Seems like sedition. So they just get escorted out and told not to come back?
Here we go again. More unprofessional behavior from the Keystone Kops that we call the Secret Service. I thought that this was supposed to be cleaned up once Trump put a new management team in place. I guess not.
Replacing the management doesn’t replace the rank and file. I would not be surprised if these were Chinese agents....................
It was a leak to the press, not a foreign government. Could be anything, but likely rumor mongering about Natalie Harp or the diversion of Trump to another plane.
One of the really aweful things about the American civil serpents is rumor mongering. Jerks like Woodward (did you see him on Jeopardy?) make bank pumping these egomaniacs for juicy details about things that should never be divulged. The American Civil Serpent is an information seive.
It’s probably because a new management team is in place that some action is being taken to root out the leaks. The old administration wouldn’t have cared at all.
This is all we know at this moment: https://www.kcra.com/article/secret-service-officials-administrative-leave/73529398
The three were operating in non-law-enforcement capacities and were being investigated for potential misconduct, the agency’s public information office reported. However, the cause for the action remained unclear as the Office of Professional Responsibility was beginning its review.
Last l heard the DEI clowns at Butler are still “on the job” too.
Well, he was the 2nd most powerful man in Germany.
I'm glad someone is finally taking these leaks seriously.
Examples need to be made.
HUH?
?
The propaganda media is owned by globalist entities which also own foreign governments.
OMG! That right there is some funny stuff folks. [/cableguy]
It was a leak to the press, not a foreign government
You don’t think the press isn’t a foreign entity?
If a foreign government had a mole inside the secret service it is extremely unlikely they would risk blowing them for some chickenshit like John Ossoff. Journalist is a convenient cover for a spy, true. I am certain that the Chinese have moles in the U.S. government, in virtually all agencies. This sounds like an press agent in bed with a journalist and divulging senstive information. If they had someone in the press office they would pump them for things like personnel rosters, and gossip: who is having an affair, financial trouble, drug or alcohol problems.
