Ministers have been urged to investigate a surge in white prisoners being forced to convert to Islam by Muslim gangs.
Ministry of Justice (MoJ) data show that one in five Muslims in prisons in England and Wales is white, nearly four times the rate of 5.8 per cent in the general population.
The number of Muslim prisoners in jails in England and Wales has also increased and accounts for nearly one in five (18 per cent) of the prison population, despite making up 6.5 per cent of the general population.
The figures have been revealed by Nick Timothy, the shadow justice secretary, who urged the Government to investigate and stamp out forced conversions.
It follows reports by government advisers highlighting concerns that gangs in some jails are ordering prisoners to convert to Islam or face violence.
"The percentage of Muslims who are white in our prisons is so vastly higher than in the general population it raises serious questions," said Mr Timothy.
"We know that experts have warned repeatedly about forced conversions taking place behind bars, driven by Islamic gangs.
"We need to be honest that something is not right here – Labour must urgently investigate and stamp out forced conversions in prison."
Targeting 'vulnerable' inmates
Jonathan Hall KC, the government's independent reviewer of terrorism legislation, said he found evidence in his report of Islamist terrorists acting as "self-styled emirs" controlling prisoners through "leadership and recruitment".

The democrats and the left has pushed islam in American prisons for at least 60 years while the media wrote articles describing how good it was for the black man because it made him a good person and cleaned up his bad habits, the democrats even had contracts with the Nation of Islam to serve as security for housing projects, and of course the way they made muhammed Ali a shining example of Muslim piety and twisted his position that he wouldn’t fight for (Christian) America in a war, into convincing the public that he was against ALL war.

Soon we will see Churches come under muslim control by forcing members to attend mosques or there will be no food, no school for their children once muslims get the vote. All of the Countries North of the Equator in Africa are now muslim and the nonmuslim population are forced to live like animals if they don’t attend the mosque. Muslims are killing over 100 thousand Christians per year in Africa if they don’t convert. Europe and England are soon to be totally overtaken. Actually, the Church of England was a Godly church for a couple of hundred years. Only in the last 60 or 70 years has it deteriorated. What it was in Henry VII time, I think was bad to start with, IF it was started just so he could divorce, but grew into a Godly denomination eventually, because unlike the Catholicism it was meant to replace, it allowed Godly pastors to make changes. A pastor has a huge opportunity to make much of little, if he’s following God and leading his flock to do so.
They convert in prison and then leave it once they are out.

Those numbers are similar to ours in that a small portion of the population is responsible for 50+% of the crime.

The UK prisons ARE the indoctrination and radicalization centers. They are Muslim farms. It’s the contributing reason he had to be in solitary, there really was no other safe place for him.
He informs that prison staff and guards do not actually run the institutions, arguing instead that organized Islamic networks maintain control over wings and inmates.
