Texas Senate hopeful James Talarico took heat Thursday for suggesting teen killer Karmelo Anthony’s murder conviction was unjust because there were no black jurors at his trial.
Talarico — who is seeking to become the first Democrat elected to the Senate from Texas since 1988 — was asked about the high-profile case during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” radio show earlier this month and seemingly argued that Anthony’s conviction was proof the justice system “is not working for black Texans.”
“Well, I’ve done a lot of work in the state house on justice reform, and right now we’ve got a system that doesn’t serve all Americans equally, and we know that black Texans have not gotten the justice they deserve in many cases,” Talarico said.
“I’m not an expert on this particular case,” he added, “but I know that there were no black members of the jury, and to me that’s the only evidence you need to really prove that this system is not working for black Texans.”

Exactly. Now they managed to get a new trial. What has been reported would make him even more guilty. Texts between his girlfriend saying he’s “going to stab somebody and lick the blood from the knife”. He should have stuck with the 35 years he got. There were two black witnesses at his trial and they both testified against him.

I’m bombarded by YouTube with his ads begging for donations. Despite my abhorrence of him, I don’t “skip” the ads but let them play all the way through. I do that to extract the maximum amount of ad expenditure from him.

Anthony confessed to the stabbing thus his trial was a waste of time and money and now the blacks and the libturds want him released? This society is failing and failing fast.
They can ask for one, but if it was that easy everybody would get a new trial.
