Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s son, Conor Kennedy, has been named on Russia’s international wanted list for fighting alongside the enemy in the Ukraine war, according to reports.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow authorized the younger Kennedy’s “arrest in absentia,” accusing him of acting as a mercenary for the Ukrainian armed forces, Russian state outlet TASS reported last week.

He faces seven to 10 years in prison if captured, according to the outlet.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

From the Russian News Agency:

Kennedy is charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Article 353 of the Russian Criminal Code (participation of a mercenary in an armed conflict or military action).

Hmmm....Can you say "Wagner Group" or "North Korea" or "Kenya" or dozens of other countries?

Wagner are mercenaries and Russia uses mercenaries, but the North Koreans are regular North Korean Army troops, and the Kenyans and others are probably volunteers integrated into the official Russian military forces and not mercenaries.

7-10 years in a Russian prison?

I think I’d choose to fight to the death and try to take a couple of the enemy with me.

Apparently he isn’t there now so what’s Putin’s problem?

Conor Kennedy can be thankful he escaped the clutches of Taylor Swift...it could have been worse. Maybe that’s why he did it..

Sounds like Conor went to “See The Elephant” is a manner of speaking. Frankly, once out of the region, how can he be “arrested?”

They presumably are paid something, so how does that make them any different from Kennedy?

If they are just foreign volunteers and part of the legal Russian forces receiving regular soldier pay, then they are just like Kennedy, foreign volunteers and they must be treated like any other POW if captured.

Kennedy isn’t a mercenary, he is serving as part of the Ukraine armed forces in the International Legion.
