AUSTIN, Texas — Democrats are doubling down on their fight to convince Americans that their transgender policies should return.
The plan is to hammer home stories of transgender teens suffering discrimination and humiliation, gaining sympathy from voters and making a liability out of the expected onslaught of GOP ads attacking Democrats’ transgender policies.
One DNC member described it as a “slingshot” moment.
The party laid out the strategy in an LGBTQ caucus meeting at the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting in Austin.
“Anti-trans attacks are going to be used in this election at the largest scale we have ever seen them used before, and we have to be ready and prepared for that,” Sam Alleman, a veteran strategist with the gay-rights group Human Rights Campaign, said at the caucus meeting.
“It’s now our turn to show up for the trans community and continue doing that work and driving narrative work,” he said.
HRC plans to spend $15 million in this year’s midterms to sway voters in favor of transgender rights and the Democratic candidates who support transgender rights. It is his organization’s goal to make transgender people more visible over the next 10 years, showing American voters that transgender people are their friends and neighbors.

We’ll keep fighting the cooie dogs ‘till they drop, and go to Hell.
Are trannies even human? They say the don’t really inhabit the body they are born in and they try to inhabit a body that doesn’t really exist, so what is actually left? One abandoned body and one non-existent shell of a body.
China is behind the DNC and the Trans movement. It is part of their long plan to defeat the US.
So can people suffering from depression, alcoholism, and a host of other issues. That doesn't make those things desirable to promote or want more people in those situations.
Those undergoing the anti-gender care these people advocate are worse off than ever - their suicide rates are higher, etc. And in many cases it is a phase that passes - but if you have done irreparable harm to your body through chemical damage or surgical mutilation, then you are maimed for life.
Not even those that were in the so-called "LGB" movement of 20 years ago even imagined such a thing as this could even exist. This is a further progression into madness.
And they have a template. They have gotten huge votes for radical pro-abortion initiatives passed by portraying them as pro-faith, pro-family, pro-children. The organizations are flush with cash to run these sustained ad campaigns while the conservative opposition has very little money to combat these false messages by comparison.
Aye, por favor-esta mierda otra vez? These lunatics can go right ahead and knock their lights out promoting that s***-sane people are not listening any more, no matter who they show whining and crying-trans people are not neighbors that any sane person cares to know, either...
Yes, I want sexually confused, angry, suicidal neighbors that are pumped full of hormones that don’t belong in their bodies
And then the GOP can run ads showing girls SA’d by trans “girls” and get sympathy for them.
If it has an apple, it has a banana.
It’s all a voter database scheme. The LGBTQ movement and the Democratic Party just want to broaden the Democratic Party base. That’s why the LGBTQ activists are always adding letters to the LGBTQ spectrum. They know it’s nonsense, but they are creating a victim menu while also identifying new voters.
democrats and insanity
DNA has a Y, you’re a guy.
No absolutely not. Don’t bring back the demoncRATS transgender policies. They are detrimental to our nation as a whole.
Only because they’re trying to normalize it so they can make big Mike Obama president.
Satire?
These people are sick and mentally deranged.
And then achieve world domination.
Big time.
Not really, I hate to say.
