The man convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering 5-year-old Kamarie Holland in Phenix City is scheduled to be executed Thursday evening in south Alabama.
Jeremy Williams, 42, is set to be executed Aug. 13 at approximately 6 p.m. CT at William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore.
Williams was convicted in the December 2021 death of Kamarie Holland, whose disappearance sparked a large-scale search across the Chattahoochee Valley.
According to court testimony, Kamarie was reported missing from her mother’s home on Dec. 13, 2021. Investigators reviewing phone records determined Williams and Kamarie’s mother, Kristy Siple, had been in contact the night before.
Prosecutors said Siple sold Kamarie to Williams for $2,500 in exchange for one hour of oral sex.
Investigators later tracked Williams’ cellphone to the Bamboo Motel on Opelika Road in Phenix City, where deputies found him with his uncle. Williams was taken into custody by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.

According to articles I found dating back to March, 2024 ... Siple pled guilty to human trafficking, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Not sufficient, IMO ...
Don’t forget Oklahoma executed one today, also. Carlos Questa-Rodriguez killed his girlfriend in 2003. 23 years eems like a long time ago.

Including the charges for this crime, he was also convicted of others.

It would seem that bringing back public impalement for such crimes would be a suitable punishment. And possible deterrent.
Not even 5 years and justice is being served. A five year old child?
