The Walls — and Evidence — Are Slowly Building Around Dr. Anthony Fauci
New York Post ^ | Aug. 9, 2026 | Miranda Devine

Posted on 08/10/2026 1:10:12 PM PDT by nickcarraway

Sen. Rand Paul is examining Dr. Anthony Fauci’s government-issued phone and says he is taking a special interest in whether it contains evidence of “deletions.”

That’s significant because Fauci’s former factotum, David Morens, is awaiting trial on charges of concealing and destroying government records, allegedly on behalf of his boss, and is facing up to 51 years in prison. Not that many people know that, since only one reporter covered his arraignment in May: The Post’s own Josh Christenson.

Paul may have bigger ambitions for Fauci than the criminal referral for contempt of Congress he sent off to the DOJ last week, after the former COVID czar pleaded the Fifth an excruciating 111 times in his Senate committee testimony rather than come clean with the American people about why he funded dangerous gain-of-function research in China’s Wuhan lab. If Fauci can be shown to have concealed or destroyed government records, then he could find himself sitting alongside Morens in the dock, depending on how robust his last-minute pre-emptive autopen pardon from Joe Biden proves to be.

Well, FRAUDci knowingly hid an 82% abortion rate, that his jabs were causing ... so, hopefully criminal charges will be forthcoming.

Yeah, here’s hoping but I won’t hold my breath.

But if the Florida AG causes that little gargoyle 30 seconds of anguish that’s fine with me.

Fauci murdered Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island. He has Mary Ann's blood
dripping off his hands. Dawn Wells died of Covid around Christmastime 2020.

When I was a wide-eyed naive kid from a blue collar family I thought academics was the ultimate meritocracy, and that all you needed to do to be part of it was be good at what you do, be ethical, and offer something innovative and different.

The reality is that academics is Hollywood for people like Fauci - who has never contributed anything to science that shifted any paradigm, but nonetheless made himself into a celebrity ‘physician scientist’ by climbing the political ladder at the NIH and using taxpayer money to buy himself acceptance and favor. I have very little if any doubt that over the years his control of NIH grant money was the basis of many ‘lofty’ friendships and relationships, fine dinners, fine wine, and stature.

Unfortunately, science, at the ‘name brand’ level is full of people like him. If you are junior and have good ideas you become a target for exploitation - not a favored son or daughter who should be nurtured and supported. When those ideas have patents and potential money attached to them it is all the worse.

People like Fauci should never be exalted. Arguably no one who is entrusted with a position like his should ever be - unless they serve faithfully over a career and didn't use the position to become famous and/or wealthy. Tall order given human nature, but a goal we should set nonetheless.

the only thing that needs to build around Fauci is a 6-foot-deep hole in the ground.

Maybe the Vatican will entomb Fah-oooo-chi next to Dope Francis the Nitwit when he dies. Both are hammer and sickle types.

And nothing will come of it.

anyone with determined Democrat & MSM protection can get away with almost anything. That doesn't mean this isn't an excellent battleground to explore the limits of that protection. Fauci literally committed crimes against humanity - I will gladly force the other side to defend him till the cows come home.

I don’t think Democrats will lose any sleep over it.

“He hasn’t been convicted in a court of law. He has a pardon. That means he never did anything wrong. No matter what so-called facts you think you have. He’s innocent until he’s sitting in a prison cell. I win. You lose.”

I always hated thinking that “nothing would come of it...” but then I realized that especially in larger organizations and anything Gov’t. paid for or related there is a “There but for” attitude.

That is to say, do not allow harm to someone who is in a position of doing what you hope or aspire.

Those are the guardrails of collective institutional corruption and evil in the course of things.

There’s a plausible argument that by taking the 5th, he abandoned the protection offered by his pardon.

Burdick v. United States, 236 U.S. 79 (1915), is a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision holding that a presidential pardon must be accepted to be effective, and a person has the absolute right to reject one. Crucially, the Court noted that accepting a pardon carries an imputation or admission of guilt, distinguishing it from legislative immunity.

Fauci has an absolute right to reject the pardon and claim his fifth amendment rights. But in doing so, can he remain immune to prosecution, as granted by a pardon? Or has he abandoned the pardon? That, as they say, is a Damned Good Question.

But what about the Biden auto pin pardon? Will that protect Fauci?

Techniques when the walls are closing in to crush someone.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y78WpRBeQU0&t=13s

From the 1935 movie The Raven (Lugosi and Karloff star):
...To seal off the others, he lowers Jean’s entire bedroom — on an elevator — into the dungeon and locks her inside IMDb.

The “walls closing in” sequence
Once Jean is trapped, Vollin turns off the phones and lowers a shutter sealing the library. He then orders Jerry and Jean into a small, hidden room, telling them they will be together “forever and ever.” Inside, the walls begin to close in, revealing it to be a shrinking room IMDb. This is a literal and psychological trap: the room’s walls are moving inward, forcing Jean and Jerry into a confined space.
In The Raven, the shrinking room serves as a final act of psychological torture, sealing the characters in a space of no escape, much like Poe’s own tales of doom.

“David Morens, is awaiting trial on charges of concealing and destroying government records, allegedly on behalf of his boss, and is facing up to 51 years in prison.”

He committed crimes on behalf of Fauci — probably on orders from Fauci — and HE is facing prison, but Fauci is NOT? It’s been proven that Fauci (illegally) ordered his staff to solicit cash awards for him. Of COURSE Fauci is as guilty as Morens.

“The GOP AG’s (sic) can make the rest of his life a litigation nightmare.”

Yes. Let the left, starting with Fauci, get a glimpse of what PDJT has been subjected to for over 10 years.

I just thought since Rand voted against the Republicans that he’s going to let Fauci slide but maybe not.
